Food quality and pricing is good. There were a couple of glitches in seating and service but nothing major. Found it interesting that winter decorations were still in foyer.
We had some out of town guests in and made reservations. Our guest were extremely impressed with their meal. They ordered prime rib and my husband and I both had steaks. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our waiter Josh was excellent as well. This is one of our go to places and will continue to be.
The food and ambience were incredible. It took a few minutes longer than expected to be seated, but staff worked with us to get our food more quickly since we had a commitment after. The food was cooked perfectly - steaks a perfect medium rare, Mac and cheese side very flavorful and creamy, salads appropriately dressed. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
I am never disappointed with this place. The food is always excellent.
Waiter had to many tables so that could be improved but the food was great. A little pricey but overall it was a good experience.
Second time we have eaten here service is very good and food quality is good both lunch and dinner. Good value for lunch. We will come back again as long as quality of food remains good.
Excellent service. Great social distancing. Excellent food. Everything just perfect.
Server was exceptional.
Service and food were excellent
The food was cold. Never saw the waiter. Not good for how expensive it is.
Awesome place for special occasions! Always great food, service & atmosphere!
Service was great, staff was great, and the prime rib was outstanding!
Chophouse always meets more beats our expectations. Great place
Loved it! Our waiter Miguel was the perfect amount of tentativeness, super nice, and fast! Will definitely be dining here again.
Keeping in mind that it was Valentine's weekend, seating for our reservation was about 35 minutes behind. One of our steaks was a little over-cooked. However, our food was good and the server we had was great. I think this situation was an anomaly.
Made reservations for Valentines and could not have made a better choice! Service was excellent and so was the food!! Beautiful night!!
Quick service during a really busy weekend (Valentine’s). Steaks were slightly over cooked, although still delicious (husband ordered medium, came out brown throughout; I ordered medium rare, came out pink on inside, no red, with brown towards the edges). Sides were great.
Food and service was excellent
One of the best restaurants overall in the south.. Recommended all around
Great food and service. It wasn’t wife’s birthday and our server Jordan made it very special.
Chicken tortilla soup was a bit too salty.
Lots of patrons this evening and kept our server, Miguel, very busy.
But overall experience was still positive.
The deviled egg appetizer was the BOMB and so yummy! Five stars for it! The ribeye was flavorful. We also had a teriyaki chicken delivered to our table, which I’m told was very good. Disappointed with the fact the sweet potato fries are cooked with other breaded items in the kitchen (as they were listed on the GF menu). Thank you to the manager for checking with me before they were presented with my dinner. Perhaps have a designated fryer for your gluten free items. Also suggest having other GF items on your dessert menu.
We also had to wait for about 15-20 minutes after our reservation time, so minus some points for the delay. Service was very good.
We were celebrating two birthdays. Our server Corrie was spectacular! Our food was delicious and the whole experience was amazing!
Good value, excellent and prompt service. Food was prepared as requested and very good.
The food is always good and the servers are friendly.
Server was top notch, food was great value and the staff was very friendly
Wonderful meal and good COVID-19 precautions were in place.
A winning combination: great food; and outstanding service provided by Jordan.
The food was awesome, the staff was awesome, we made a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes. I liked the atmosphere and the decor. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Great experience
Took friends for Sunday lunch. IT was a great experience. We felt very safe and properly distanced. Everyone ordered something different and we all loved our meal. Jordan, our waitress was outstanding.
Can't wait to go back
We had a dinner reservation but it was 25 minutes later before we were seated. Food preparation was slow. We went on a busy Saturday night and spent 2 hours there. Prime rib was more fat than meat. Just average for a normally excellent resturant.
Food was amazing, as well as the service. Our table had the usda market chiice steak, tenderloing and prime rib. All were cooked and seasoned perfectly.
Very good. Nice, quiet. Menu is always good.
We had a wonderful time. My parents were leaving TN for FL and we put in a special request for the dessert. The host stand confirmed this special request and said the waitstaff had been informed.
When time came - Lizzy delivered and it was great.
Lizzy was attentive and super friendly for the entire time. She came back and checked on us frequently and delivered exceptional customer service.
thank you so much
Food was good ....price was too much for what we got
Out of town visiting and would highly recommend!
Great! Fast service great food
The Chop House in West Knoxville is one of our favorite restaurants - you can always count on having a delicious meal and good service. This trip I had a house salad and a small filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly. My DH had the fish special, which was grilled halibut that came with a yummy pineapple salsa. Service was quick and efficient as usual. Very nice meal!
Ambiance: if you are a first time visitor you should like the appearance but I have gone off and on since the restaurant has opened. As such the decor is getting a little long in the tooth. I don’t think it has changed since restaurant has opened. The functional fireplace is a nice touch and noise level is good for a restaurant.
Service: we got there a little early so had to wait but we were called within about 2 minutes of our reservation. Secondly we were contacted via text message so we were able to walk around and do a little window shopping. The only concerning part was the waiting area was packed with people sitting butt to butt if you get my drift. It is no wonder TN is number 1 for COVID cases. Seating distance in the restaurant area is adequate.
Waiter appeared very shortly after we were seated, promptly brought our drinks and bread. Brought me a fresh glass of tea when my initial glass was about a ⅓ full even though I hadn’t asked. The only complaint, and it is minor if not a little humorous, was that waiter filled friends sprite glass with water. Fresh glass of Sprite was quickly brought.
Food: Everyone’s food arrived at same time. Food was hot and had a very good taste. Wife and I had the pork chop.
Value: Entrees were priced reasonably.
Bottom Line: Highly recommend. I ask myself why I haven’t gone there more often.
Very good food, excellent service.
