   Although we have had favorable dinners there previously, several missteps occured this time: my wife's prie rib was about 1/3 fat and was replaced after we talkeddto server. My ordered Seafood Alfredo turned out to be Chicken alfredo. And it was replaced after another discussion but the replacement had only about 5-6 small shrimp and no crab or lobster that I could spot. The manager provided us a gift card usable against a future visit. The server (Gabbi) was the best part of the evening. Very friendly, helpful and attentive.

   Hadn't been here for a bit. Place has been redecorated and is much brighter. Food was still exceptional. This is not a cheap place, but worth the money

   Amy was knowledgeable of the menu and was very attentive to our needs. She made us feel welcome with her beautiful smile. Even the manager visited the tables asking people about the service, food and experience. We’ll be back.

   I’ve been several times to The Chop house, food is always good and service is excellent. Food is delivered in a timely fashion. Haven’t been for dinner, but will in the near future.

    Great food and always so reliable..... from the service to the cleanliness. Great place to visit after church or for a special occasion. Definitely a family favorite and their lunch menu items are a great value!

    They've changed the ambiance for the worse. It foes not have the character it once had. Our orders were wrong. The appetizer was missed all together. Sadly, this used to be one of our favorite places for date night. Nit say more.

    I have always enjoyed dining at The Chop House (and Connor's) since Day 1 (excluding the 15 years when I lived in California). Since returning to Knoxville in 2017, I have had lunch regularly at The Chop House bar with bartenders Kimmy or Derek who always do an outstanding job. My visit on Saturday was for dinner in the dining room on what appeared to be a very busy night. We were greeted very nicely by the host, but since we arrived about 15 minutes early, we were told our table would be ready at our reservation time. We went to the bar to enjoy a cocktail (with Derek) and about 10 minutes later received a text that our table was ready. We were seated promptly and within a minute our server, Miguel, greeted us and said he would return in a minute. When he returned to the table with water he let us know he would bring bread and butter as soon as it was finished baking (which he did a few minutes later). He told us about the specials and asked if we were ready to order. We were, and both ordered house salads and the Baked Schrod. The salads and the schrod were excellent, although one order looked a little "rough" as if part of the fillet had stuck to to the pan and the coating was torn. Not a big deal, but it did take away from the plate presentation. Miguel checked back with us several times to be sure everything was good. Dishes were promptly cleared and Miguel returned to see if we were interested in dessert. He brought us a dessert menu and we asked for a suggestion--he gave us two. We decided to share one piece of Key Lime Pie, which was good but did have a bit of a "refrigerator" taste. Again, not a big deal as we ate the whole thing. I should mention that the recent remodel was a definite improvement (particularly in the bar), but I was surprised the walls in the dining room were bare...maybe they haven't quite finished with the interior design work yet? All in all, a very good experience. Will be back for lunch and dinner soon!

    Service was terrific. Beef Filet was fatty and tough. Baked potato was dry, even with extra butter. Not impressed and price paid too high for food quality.

    Nathan did an excellent job of serving us.He did a good job of pacing the meal and not rushing us and also anticipating what we needed. A restaurant can have excellent food but the server can make a huge difference. Their salads are always wonderful. The steak was tasty and they bake sweet potatos perfectly.

    We went because it was our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the table was right in the main pathway and everyone (including waiters going to and from the kitchen) had to walk by us, so it was not as romantic as it could have been. The food was very good and large portions, so we didn’t have room for dessert

    Not good food, terrible waiter. Waiter talked at every single table more than he was actually waiting tables. One salad came to the table and the other one showed up at time for the entree. Couldn’t get drink refills. My husband ate chicken Parmesan, which he said was awful and had a bad taste. His stomach has been upset all day today. Took a very long time to get cocktail delivered to table. Bread finally arrived a little before entree came out. Very bad experience. Prime Rib wasn’t good either.

    Service was excellent, salads were fabulous and she made sure that my steak didn’t have any spices on them due to a gluten allergy. Only complaint would be that they need to do something about the floor, very slick when ur in dress shoes or high heels for a women.

    Steak was undercooked. Dessert was held for 15 minutes in the "to go" shelf rather than serving it as requested. Wine was very expensive and topped by a 15% state wine tax making the total 4+ times cost.
