The ambiance was nice and our waitress was outstanding. My husbands steak came out very very undercooked (he has asked for medium). My kids and my food was mediocre but not worth the high price in my opinion. For the amount of money we had to spend I am not sure if we would go back, when we can eat for a lot less money at places where we feel the food is better.
Our service was excellent. Our server recommended the prime rib. I ordered the prime rib sandwich. It was perfectly cooked, absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend The Chop House Sevierville.
Always delicious! Never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend!
The Chop House was awesome. Our waitress was amazing even though they were extremely busy she made sure we were doing good with our drinks and meals.. Could not have been anymore pleased.
Delicious food, awesome service! We have been to the one in Kodak, TN & booked here by mistake but ended up being a great choice! Both Chop Houses are delicious!
My steak was cooked perfectly and flavorful.
On December 31st, I purchased a Caymus $115 wine bottle, server opened the bottle against the table, almost destroyed the cork and threw it away. Provided my wife with tasting of the wine, instead of the person ordering the bottle. She had no clue. I wanted to take the left over since only one person was drinking, had to drink the entire bottle, no cork. She did not return for additional wine servings.
Requested my 14oz. Ribeye medium and Pittsburgh style. I guess chef had no idea what it was and put a seasoning on the upper part of the steak to make it look like charred crust. It ruined the expensive steak, changed the flavor completely. Had to remove the crust with the fork but the damage was done. 2 filet mignons ordered did not have this issue with the added unknown seasoning.
We had appetizers and food in 45 minutes, restaurant was almost empty, no need to push the food, obviously we did not enjoyed it since everything was served so quick, no pause was done.
The owner is in part to blame for not training staff.
Not an enjoyable expensive experience.
Great place and Staff!! I will definitely be coming back!
Second time coming here and it was still phenomenal!!!
The food was amazing and the service was great. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy a night out without being exposed to crowds. The reservation was on time and we were seated quickly.
Great food and service
This location is very busy with the steady tourist attraction town that it serves. We made reservations and still waited 15 minutes for a table. The restaurant was swamped with people waiting to eat, and tables with people eating. The noise level was pretty moderate. The waitress was very pleasant, definitely not knowledgeable on the menu though. My husband ordered lamb chops medium rare and they were served medium well to well done. It took the waitress 15 minutes to ask how the food was, and then my husband sent his food finally back to the kitchen. It took another 15-20 minutes to get the lamp chops back and then they were served rare. After the third time being sent to the kitchen they finally were served correctly. He was happy we ordered a bottle of wine because it made the wait more tolerable. I believe if you pay $30 per plate for a nice meal the wait staff and cooks should be properly trained to serve food that is prepared properly. My steak was under cooked as well, but I ate it without complaint because of the time it was taking for my husband’s dinner to be properly cooked. Overall we had a great time as a family and the memories we shared on vacation. But the only plus to this restaurant was being able to make an online reservation, as most other restaurants in town were first come first serve. The manager did comp my husband’s lamb from the check. Very kind. Just not worth the money spent.
First of all the waitress got my wife’s order wrong but we didn’t complain. My iced tea was luke warm and the food wasn’t that great. I doubt I’ll be back
Excellent service and very good food.
Great place to go
Overall a wonderful experience. Perfect ambiance for a romantic date night. Server was kind and attentive. My wife’s steak was initially underdone. They were so nice about correcting it and even brought her a fresh potato so hers wouldn’t be cold by the time her steak got finished.
Food was good, waitress was excellent. Have ate at other Chop Houses before (Kingsport, Tenn) (Knoxville, Tenn). The Chop House in Kingsport, Tenn has way better steaks, (more tender).
The New York Strip Steak I ordered was a little tough. Everything else was very good.
So, my friend and I were visiting from Washington DC and the food and service was excellent the first night. The staff was super friendly and at the end of the night one of the staff was so happy asked for our number so we gave it. The ladies are the door were super nice where they willingly set our reservations for the next day (today). When we arrived the next day (today), we were seated in the worst seat possible, all the way in the back side of the bar where we couldn’t be seen or be around the warmth of the restaurant. We asked to be moved and didn’t understand why were were sitting in this back bench where it felt like punishment. It was was all so confusing. The blonde check in lady is like , oh if you want to sit in the main dining area there will be a wait. I was so confused . The night before we spent $200 behind the meal and tips and were super appreciative of the good food and service. In about 10 min after been seated in this punishment booth, I went to the front where the hostess checked us in. The blonde hostess who gave me attitude ignored me, the red head curly hair girl was receptive and I can see she felt bad. The red head girl kindly sat us where we sat the night before. The waitress from the night before ignored us, the chef ignored us and w the blonde hostess giving us Attitude.. Major attitude... it was unfortunate. My question is, is there a small town drama here and the blonde hostess feel intimated by the outertowner??! Are you claiming power because some guy you might have had a date is giving attention to some random chick?! My advise is to the staff, leave your petty drama to yourselves and not take it out on your customers, especially when then are good and spending $400 in two nights in your establishment. This was awful. You ruined our last night here in this beautiful town. Again, leave your customers out of your staff drama. Thanks.
Excellent food and service. Would return when in area again.
Our family had a Cousin’s Ugly Sweater Dinner here and it turned out nice. They accommodated our large party and the service was fast! The waiter and waitress was nice! I’d definitely recommend. The ambiance was sooo cozy and perfect for our pictures with the fire place burning. My cousins stated the drinks were good and strong. We love a good alcoholic beverage. LOL
We need one of these restaurants in Florida!!
We made a reservation and it worked out great. With the pandemic going on we were very happy with the overall
Atmosphere due to space and staff . I ordered a Ribeye and it was great. Cooked perfectly.
My wife got a Filet and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. All sides were good. We recommend this place for dinner. A week before Christmas and was great..
Great lunch meals, reasonably priced. Had such a lovely lunch experience seated next to fireplace that we came back two days later for dinner. Wonderful filet steak yummy 😋 and the creamy chicken mushroom soup was very good!
Everything was fantastic. I rated the noise level down a little because there was a crying baby near us, but that was no fault of the Chop House. I would highly recommend this Chop House. One of the best steaks I've ever had.
My husband and I when on a Saturday evening had made prior reservations. Everything was delicious from appetizer to the main entree even his two Long Island Iced Teas waitress was wonderful and very energetic. We highly recommend everyone to go and enjoy a delicious dinner and evening out
Our food & service were both excellent. It’s a must visit next time we are in Gatlinburg. We will recommend it to all of our friends.
Food and Service was amazing.
Had to wait about 15 mins with a reservation for a table. Took about 40 mins for our entrees to come out. Food was cold. Had a filet that was overly undercooked.
AMAZING! The food was delicious. Service was great! Atmosphere perfect. We sat near a fireplace and it was so beautiful and relaxing. If you’ve never tried The Chop House, I highly recommend.
It was very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very good!
One of the better places to eat in Pigeon Forge area. A tad more pricier than the other restaurants but the value, though costlier, and quality makes it a better choice.
Spending $75.00 for three is easy in Pigeon Forge so why not go a little more and have the richer experience.
Had dinner with my husband for our anniversary. The filets were perfect. Great salad and delicious bread on the table prior to receiving our meal. Great wine selection. Great atmosphere. Waitress brought us a surprise dessert with a candle because she figured out we were there for our anniversary. She was the perfect waitress. Did not stand around and try to carry on a conversation with us but was very attentive. I do not like a chatty waiter/waitress. Tables spaced apart and everything was very clean. Felt very comfortable eating at this restaurant during this difficult COVID situation.
As always a great dining experience. My only drawback was they had removed my favorite desert from the menu, the Triple Berry Shortcake.
We had a great dinner, food was great and the wine. Tables did stay dirty around us for quite some time before they were cleaned. When we first arrived to our table it took a long time to get cocktails. Overall we enjoyed the evening.
Great food, however was sad to see they had removed the triple berry desert from menu. Was my favorite.
Servers were excellent and helpful. One steak was overdone, but otherwise and excellent meal.
Cousin just got married. We all liked menu and atmosphere very much. Staff were all wearing masks except kitchen
Passing through stop. Very busy on a Saturday night. My wife ordered a steak done medium, but it came to her well done. They worked really hard to make it right.
Our server had back to back large groups around us so we were left a little neglected
Good food. Service from our waitress was great. The bartender CANNOT make drinks here at all. Every table around us was complaining. The more aggravating part. We had a 7.15p reservation. We arrived at 630 to be safe. A 3 person group showed at 7p for an 815 reservation and they gave them a seat before us. Unbelievable
Service was excellent, Along with the sides and drinks.
My husbands steak was RAW when it came out and he ordered medium rare. Plus the cut was very fatty and overall just not great.
My steak was fine and edible , but also undercooked
