Usda Prime Steak
highest quality, top two percent of beef
slow-roasted for 12 hours, au jus
A disappointing visit. We always look forward to the prime rib here when visiting Gatlinburg. Salad over-dressed and prime rib was tough. Great server and atmosphere
Awesome. Attentive service. Food is excellent, as always. Chef Specials always great choice. We always eat here several times a year. This was special trip, 50th Anniversary
The food and customer service was great! We got the ribeye and prime rib and both were mouth watering. We also liked that we could make our reservation online. We liked it so much that we came back for lunch a few days later!
My husband and I both got a steak, medium rare. When it came, it was soooooo well done like charcoaled, some parts completely black burnt. When I brought it to the waitresses attention, she was quick to return it to the kitchen and get us both new steaks. The manager stopped by to apologize for the inconvenience. It was very nice. Overall though, the food was just okay. Decent for the price paid. Nice ambiance. Waitress was just alright.
Food was great!! Normally I’m not one to provide negative feedback, but I feel as though I should provide constructive criticism. Our server was attentive but didn’t stage our meal appropriately. For example, we had our appetizers before our drinks from the bar arrived. We were also still enjoying our appetizers when our salads arrived. Same for the entrees. You get the theme. We didn’t appreciate feeling rushed through an otherwise very nice dinner. Also, when I ordered a nice 9oz pour of wine following my pre-dinner cocktail, it arrived in a carafe with a separate glass. This is normally a nice touch, but the glass had obviously been removed from the dishwasher and was still visibly very wet. Our server simply poured the wine into the glass that contained water on the inside and outside of the glass. Again, the food was the star of the show, but our server certainly could use more training on etiquette and how to better stage a dinner where we clearly were not in a hurry.
Came her to celebrate my birthday and it was my first time at The Chop House. The food was good and the service was exceptional. I would definitely recommend and would come back.
This was the 1st time in 40-50 times using Open table we had to wait more than a few mins at any place. We were seated 40 mins after our time. We have eaten here many times over the years and well we’re just disappointed this time in many different ways.
Slow to be seated with reservations. Service was ok. Food was ok. Good value for the money though.
We finally got our table 30 minutes after our reservation. I checked in and 15 minutes later asked how long it would be. The lady at host stand said we had never checked in. I’ve had much better steak. Would not recommend this place.
The food was excellent. The selection of steaks was very nice. The burgundy mushrooms were tasty Pricing was pretty standard for a tourist area. Service from Tricia was outstanding
We ate in the lounge and it was nice - waiter was great. Getting seating was a bit ackward at the front and seeme inefficient - probably because of Covid rules. We split the prime rib - it was wonderful and we still had plenty to bring home. We'll definitely return.
Worst steak I’ve had in a long time. I guess you have to spend upwards of $45.00 for a good steak in a these days in order for it to not be loaded with tenderizers and fat. Food presentation reminds you of a Ponderosa from the 1980s.
Other than the over a half an hour of waiting after my reservation time the experience was great for our 17th anniversary
Horrible service. Food that was ordered was cold and bread was brought out just as we were finishing meal. Drinks were not refilled
Excellent restaurant. Good location. Highly recommend getting reservations as it is a high demand location.
We sat in the bar area which was quiet. We had a fantastic prime rib. Loved the salad with unique crunchy noodles.
My service was amazing and the food was incredible! Will definitely be going back!
Wait staff was AMAZING and very attentive. Food was beyond incredible!
Chop House was excellent! My husband and I celebrated our 10year wedding anniversary on 10/2/20. All precautions were made due to Covid 19 and it was nice to see a whole team cleaning and sanitizing after every customer. Our food was awesome, waitress was a joy and overall experience was 5 stars! We will be back on our next trip back in November!
Dinner . God food. Great service
We are from Texas and was looking for a good restaurant. They offer excellent food. Having reservation did seem to help in seating us down. We still had to wait about 20 minutes after our reservation time of arrival. Other then this good place to eat.
Great service, food was delicious and price was reasonable
This Chop House, would not be by first choice in Sevierville, but it is one of the few upscale restaurants. While the food and service were fine, it was not "Excellent" as would be expected at a Chop House.
The servers and all the staff seem interested in satisfying each and every whim. No must not be a part of their vocabulary. Thanks job well done
Late seating for reservations-about 30+ minutes behind, slow bar service-not busy-server didn’t have a lot of knowledge to get our drinks and wasn’t her job to do so, but she was very nice. Food was subpar which is disappointing because the Chop House is a must eat for us every time we are in town.
Great place to have lunch or dinner. Food is amazing. I've never had a issue with anything. Food prepared ad requested. Never disappointed at any location
Excellent food! The tuna appetizer was to die for! Will be back for sure!
Wonderful service and food.
Make a reservation. The service and food was great. Lindsey was our sever she did an excellent job. We started with the crispy shrimp & calamari very tasty. The wife had the 6oz filet and i had the 10oz rib-eye both cooked to perfection. We had a 7:00 pm reservation it was almost a 2 hour wait if you just walked in. Just a great place.
Both food and service were very good. We were in town celebrating our best friends birthday. Took her here for lunch while out shopping. We had a great time!
Outstanding food and service. Steaks all tender and sides great, especially the corn brulee
We got our temperatures taken at the door by a woman with her mask below her nose. Irony. Other servers had masks on inappropriately as well. Our server was very good. The food was mediocre...not bad but not that great either. We had reservations to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Would have had better food elsewhere.
Great experience. Never been to this chain before and our waitress was able to give great recommendations.
Wonderful food! The key lime pie is amazing, service was great! She bumped my time from 7:45 to 6:30 because I had used the app for reservations!
Hostess was grumpy (two nights in a row). Server was very good! We were seated by the bar so it was noisy. Lettuce on the house salad was wilted, my wife's steak was undercooked. Two of us ordered rare prime rib and it was medium. Very average, overpriced experience.
Not too much to say, but it was an absolutely wonderful experience.
It one the best place for my wife and I to share our wedding night. The stay brought us a card that the staff signed it meant the world to us. The food was amazing great steaks!!
Top is the line from the moment you walk through the door!! Request Meg as your server!! She is the best!!!
