For our anniversary we decided to eat at The Chop House. Are you looking for an excellent primerib or ribeye? This is the place to go. Fantastic service and out of this world good.f

Very disappointed with today’s meal, service, time and all. Made a reservation for 8. Restaurant allowed a party of 40 to take over the restaurant and then linger. We waited an hour over our reservation time and then service and food delayed as the restaurant recovered. Long waits for server to return to our table with refills or updates on food order. Didn’t even ask if we wanted appetizers which we always do as the corn tamale cakes is a favorite. Our at table time was 1 1/2 hours when typically we are 45 minutes on a typical Sunday or Saturday afternoon dinner here. As much as we have enjoyed chop house over the years, this left a bad experience.

We had a lovely dinner. We had the filet mignon blue cheese special. It was delicious.

We usually have good service here, but this evening we had to ask our server multiple times for things we needed - that is when we were able to find her. Then it took a long time for her to return with what we requested. An 18% gratuity was automatically added to our check, but we didn’t receive service warranting that amount. (We happily we tip 20% when we receive good service.)

Our party of nine had a great time and we’re surprised about the quality of food! our server I think was Joshua and he was excellent!!

Great food. We eat there several times a month and service is usually excellent but this time the server had an attitude. If we eat there again we will be sure she is not our server.
