Service was not good at all. We ordered appetizers and didn’t get, had to wait about 15 minutes to get checked on and to give the waitress the list of items that we needed. My sirloin had so much fat on it that it was like it was bought from Walmart and the portion size on the chicken parm was not good at all. Waitress was fairly inattentive but also was being worked too hard with several tables and a large party of 15 or more. Based on my normal chop house experience I would tell someone to eat here. Based off of last night I would not.
The bread was hard and the crab cakes were soft in the middle
Great service, great food (as usual). Love the atmosphere at Chop House.
Best prime rib I have had in a long time!!!
Parisian spinach was very tasty, actually could taste some spinach.
Unfortunate birthday dinner. The waitress notice dhis steak was overdone and offered to bring a new one. It was.completely raw. The manager said he could fix it but by now we had all finished eating. He said two minutes. More than 10 minutes later, he brought back the same steak, inexplicably still very rare. And didn't even offer to discount the check. Among other issues. A shame.
As always, the food was amazing and the restaurant was a great place to have a nice meal. We showed up right at the end of the busy hours, but we were still taken in 15 minutes earlier than our appointment. We didn’t have to wait for anything, and I never had one thing to complain about. Thanks for the great food and experience as usual!
Drinks were subpar and food was mediocre. Server was very nice. Might be awhile before we are back at the Chop House
Anniversary dinner. Hadn’t been here in Kingsport for several years. This restaurant was as good as I remembered!
Fabulous food that made you savor every bite and want more.
Love this restaurant!!
Food and service was great! We don’t go out much - was a little surprised at the cost. But I guess that’s why we don’t go out much.
Steak wasn't cooked properly but did give me a gift card for next time
I absolutely had one of the best meals in a very long time. It was worth the drive (about 90 minutes) because the few good restaurants closer to home (Boone Blowing Rock area) have month long wait lists or are extremely crowded. We did have reservations and were seated promptly. My husband had steak and I had the chop house in bone pork chop. Both cooked beautifully. We definitely plan more trips back to Kingsport to the Chop House and other great looking restaurants that area has to offer.
Prime rib was outstanding. Baked potato light and fluffy. Bread was hot dense and flavorful.
The server was very observant with getting us everything. The food was overall good! Some items were not the best the could be but it was still good.
Christmas Eve dinner with family! Service was exceptional and food delicious!
We had a very nice meal. The beef was fantastic. Service was fine and it was a very pleasant experience.
For our first experience, it was outstanding made in part by our server. We look forward to our next visit. We also had nine people and everyone was extremely happy with the experience Thank You it's hard to find these days
The food was very good, and the amount we got was a good portion size. I’m not a huge fan of steaks, but I didn’t want my 14 oz ribeye to end. The ambience was in the vein for Christmas and it was a nice touch. I’ll definitely be back.
Still good after all these years. Been open since 1992
Had a great meal and the service was spectacular!
A very pleasant experience. Very good meal - food was outstanding. Wish we lived closer so we could return.
According to guests at our table the salads were delicious. The Boston Schrod was delicious as usual.
Very crowded, very noisy, great food, no Covid precautions, so that was a bit scary. Had a doggie bag of food to bring home, plus a to go salad for our daughter and waitress did not put food into our bag....have no idea where my doggie bag went. Disappointing. Reservation for 5:30 and it was after 6:00 before we were called for our table.
Nice clean restaurant good service friendly people food perfect
Excellent choice for steak and seafood. Service was great and on point…we got the crab cake/shrimp appetizer which was so good..could serve as an entree . Myrib-eye was a tad over cooked (I ordered medium) but still edible. Husband ordered the special of grilled Chilean sea bass, which was excellent!
Friendly, professional staff, food was fantastic, very pleased with the overall ambience
Fantastic food and wonderful service! I will definitely be back really soon.
A great lunch. The service was good and the food was excellent.
Ate in the bar area. It was a little cool in there. Was told there is no heat in there. Everything else was top notch.
Loved everything about our dinner experience! Beautiful Resturant, very clean and well maintained. Staff super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Food was off the hook awesome! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, anytime! For sure won’t be our last time here. Our new favorite restaurant in the Tri-Cities!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The food was good as usual especially the birthday surprise, homemade chocolate cake ala mode The absolute best part of the evening, however, was our great server, Jill. She is a jewel!
Menu is diverse for all appetites. Soups are made fresh, meals well seasoned and dessert are all delicious.
We went at a very busy time. Server was excellent and attentive. Meal came out quickly.
Wonderful, attentive waitress.
First time at the Chop House. Everything was top notch and top quality. My wife is a calamari aficionado and found it to be outstanding. The steaks were amazingly good, as was everything else we had. And even though it was very busy, we were not rushed nor did the service suffer. The wine list was very good. We'll be back!
Very good in all expectations
I requested no mushrooms in my entree, but got them anyways.
Loved the ambiance! Want to come back to try other items.
Dinner was great, the wait wasn’t long and once we put our order in the food came out fast, but with enough time for us to enjoy our salad before the main course came out.
