Cute restaurant in an adorable house on the main road in Luray. Very friendly service. We ordered the sirloin and salmon and each of us had the killer mashed potatoes. Highly recommend the horseradish sauce. We were provided with an extra round of their honey, salted focaccia—omg so good! Also—awesome dirty martini!

Lovely dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant acknowledged our special occasion, which was nice. I included my dietary restrictions in the reservation but it seemed the server didn’t know or wasn’t sure what to do with it. We still had a wonderful dinner

Excellent food for the area with some local fair, such as the bloody butcher corn grits.

We had a great time sitting on the porch and watching the sunset while eating!!! Our server, Essence, was so sweet! Food was delicious. Thank you!

Best thing to happen to Luray. Great food, great service. Steaks were wonderful and perfectly cooked.

We went for lunch and recommended sticking with the burgers. The other lunch offerings were tasty, but not particularly visually appealing. I can see the potential here for a much nicer dinner experience. I was surprised at how loud it was, they might want to invest in some sound-dampening decor.

This is likely the best restaurant in Luray. It is very attractively located in a restored home on Main St. The tables and decor are minimalist, but sophisticated and inviting. Our drinks were excellent, and we were pleased to see a Hemmingway daiquiri on the cocktail menu. We had an excellent cabbage and potato soup, a salad with very fresh local greens, and a ribeye steak that was flavorful, but with more fat and gristle than normal. The duck fat fries were warm, but not hot. All told, we would certainly go back and explore the apps and other entrées.

This has quickly become my favorite restaurant. Highly recommend. Burgers and steaks are outstanding.

The Chop House Bistro Georgia midfielder in Luray, Virginia, far surpassed our expectations. I wanted to take my wife out for a nice anniversary dinner and this completely went above and beyond our expectations. We were greeted with a happy anniversary gesture at the front desk, along with a card at our table. This was a very nice touch. Our meal was perfection. The whole experience was outstanding. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that we had an excellent experience. We shall return.
