This is my second time here and brought my teenage son for his first experience along with my girlfriend who joined me for both occasions. The food was portioned well and we left full as always. The fries we got were a little undercooked and weren't as enjoyable as the first time around. My son agreed with that assessment of the fries. My sirloin I ordered was cooked properly but seemed tougher than expected but still good. I just had to chew more than I was hoping for. My son also got the sirloin but didn't seem bothered by it. My steak was medium and his was medium well. My girlfriend enjoyed her food but got full before finishing her sides. Overall another great experience. Taylor was attentive and professional as our server. She did a great job.

Delicious food! We'll be back! Great service, but our waiter had a couple of mishaps with slight spills, bill pad falling to floor, quoted market price being different than what was actually charged, etc. He was just not 100% Friday night. But that's not the norm for this wonderful restaurant.

This was our first time visiting The Chop House and it was good. We went for my husband's birthday, and I am happy that I picked this restaurant. It was not "fancy", and the dress was casual.

My wife (and another couple) truly ENJOYED our visit to "The Chop House -Athens"! We each had a different entree, and they were all FANTASTIC. My Filet was cooked a perfect "medium" and was seasoned wonderfully. My wife loved her Prime Rib and said that it was very tender. The bread was hot, and the libations were served cold. Our server "Stevie" was EXCEPTIONAL! She was polite, knowledgeable, and customer-friendly. "The Chop House - Athens" is our MOST FAVORITE steak house in the Athens/Lawrenceville/Braselton/Buford/Gainesville area!

Good service, good drinks. The 10oz ribeye was very disappointing. It was the thinnest ribeye I think I’ve ever had-more like a griddle steak served for a steak and egg breakfast. I expected better from a “chop house”.

The prime rib was over cooked, dry, and flavorless! Sides were fairly good. Bread was tough—in fact, someone in our party said the bread tasted like a hot dog bun. Very disappointing. A lot of money was wasted on sub par food. I will not go back again.
