The Chef's Table is the best restaurant in this area, hands down. We dine there at least once a week. The food, service and staff are excellent. Mitch, the head chef comes up with the most creative dishes imaginable. The menu changes daily. It is a very small restaurant and reservations are a must. Don't even try to go there without one or you will most likely be turned away.

this place passes itself off as fine dining. I beg to differ. We made our reservation the requisite 2 months in advance. When we arrived, the bar was half full and no one to greet us. After finishing his conversation, the bartender inquired as to what he could do for us. Upon being told we had dinner reservations, he directed us to a table in the bar explaining the restaurant does not open until 5:30. Fair enough. The bar is stocked nearly entirely with IPA's & double IPA's. So be aware of that. I did find something suitable for a cocktail and all was well. The dinner menu is very skinny with nearly everything having the dreaded "kick" to it whether needed or not. The lone exception being a meager 5 oz. filet mignon. My wife ordered it & loved it but 5 ounces? That's ten bites of an entree. I ordered the carbonara and it was so spicy it was ruined and I did not detect a single bit of bacon.
Seriously, I'd take a pass on this place. It's in a strip mall, the room is long & narrow and you are not allowed to sit in the (small) main dining area unless your party is larger than 2. We were seated in the hallway and I am not kidding.

This was one of the more unpretentious nice dinners I've had, and I mean that with high compliments! The waiters wore very personable and wore shorts, the atmosphere was fun and lively, and the food was delicious without being fussy. 3 of 4 of us had the fried chicken, which is on the menu at all times, and which everyone said was very good. I had potato-crusted sea bass in a curried creamed corn with sausage - the fusion of flavors was amazing - it was one of the best meals I've eaten in a long time. I have a gluten restriction and they worked around this really well. Nice variety of beers and wines by the glass. I've waited a long time to get a reservation here, and am already looking forward to going back!

I have been here twice and have been very pleased both times. The food is thoughtfully and expertly prepared using fresh and local sources, they offer a nice range of options, the cocktails and desserts are delicious, the ambience is fun and the staff went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met.

The music was loud for the clientele at the restaurant and the food was average. We were at Chef's Table for lunch. It's kind of a been there, done that restaurant. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Hands-down, this is our favorite place to go out on date night! If it was less expensive, we would be there all the time! LOL! However, I know it costs money to do it right. And Eric, the owner, does it right.

The food is always excellent. There are usually some unique dishes. Bacon brownies anyone? The wines are really good, and he usually has a couple that are a steal.

Eric is personable, and my wife and I love to chat with him. This is a small businessman who works hard for his customers!

I am glad I made a reservation because the place was full when we arrived for lunch. I normally find an item on most menus that are prepared for a vegetarian but not here. The beer batter fries was my only option, of course I could have asked if they could have prepared the Caesar Salad with a non fish dressing. I will have to try having dinner there sometime since they do have a few vegetarian options.

We love The Chef's table! The food is always consistent and delicious. Staff is attentive and convivial. Don't mind driving almost 50 miles for a meal that never disappoints. Would probably eat there more often if it wasn't so difficult to get a reservation. Just goes to show what a great place it is!

This place is so good. I love their tacos. I think I could eat them everyday. Also, eventhough, we did not get them on this date, I love their Pesto fries. They are so delicious. Service here is always superior, and the food is amazing. Likely, I will see you again next week.

It had been awhile since we were at The Chef's Table. The food was great - the Mission Fig starter plate was fabulous, the fig-bacon-brie hamburger was also very good. The sea bass was cooked perfectly but maybe a little too much going on - creamed corn, green beans, and small bites of spicy Italian sausage...didn't let the fish shine. We won't so long to go back - there were a couple of other items we want to try.

It is noisy in here, so it was not ideal for a business lunch as the woman at the next table was literally touching my leg accidentally as there were 3 of us on the bench seat, and two of them on the bench seat, and our table was like 6 inches from each other. Therefore, we could not really discuss business. I will not go there for a business lunch again, but the food was excellent
I will come here on my own time.

To celebrate our wedding anniversary, my goal was to find a restaurant that we had never been to, wasn't overpriced, and would be memorable. After reading reviews about The Chef's Table, I had high hopes. After sharing a few appetizers, savoring every bite of my entree, and indulging in a dessert, the meal and service exceeded my expectations. We WILL be back! Thrilled to have found a restaurant close to home that was healthy and delish! Bonus points to them for being able to not include the meat in the scallops appetizer since I don't eat meat. Our servers were patient and personable and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Oh, and even more bonus points for them finding a pair of readers in their lost and found pile, so that I could read the menu. (Forgot my at home!)
