   The quality of the food and wine was excellent and both were good value for money. We ordered a cheese and charcuterie board and a small plate, which was enough for a small lunch for 3, and both had a lovely selection of different cheeses and meats all accompanied by a nice mix of bread and oatcakes. The attitude of the staff was not so good. We didn’t feel particularly welcome, and having to go into the shop and queue with general customers to place our orders, took a bit of the shine off.. If this was addressed, it could have be a near perfect experience.

   Excellent value for money lunch deal, all the different cheese were explained & advised in order to eat, wine very good. Only criticism it was a bit cool due to the location of the door.

   A lovely experience at The Cheese Lounge, staff engaging, knowledgeable and kind. We did not want it to end! Shame it closed at 8pm ! We weren't aware of this at booking. However we understand it is a long day in the shop, we will return thanks again for a lovely evening of cheese and wine. Gillian

   If you want to eat wonderful cheeses washed down with lovely wine then you may want to stop off at Melissa Cheese Lounge in Edinburgh - lovely setting, lovely staff, great experience

   Lovely lunch treat. Amongst 3 we shared a bottle of wine, a cheese platter and small plate of meats. Good value.

   Lovely experience . We had a cheese platter, scotch egg and wine. Excellent server who explained the origin of all the cheeses. We were first in the lounge which was a little cold but soon warmed up once the heater was on. Well worth a visit

    Try all the cheeses, they are amazing. Also try the Chin chin white wine.
