Was hoping for a hot and tasty homemade Italian lunch on a chilly day. Nope. An unremarkable side salad with an overly sweet and metallic tasting balsamic dressing in a plastic takeout cup. A lunch special trio of lasagna (I ordered stuffed shells), veal parm, and a meatball. The meatball actually had a nice texture, but no discernible flavor. The small square of lasagna was dry and flavorless and fell apart with the touch of a fork. The veal parm was a dry, mealy, and flavorless ground veal (?) patty. A meager portion of bland tomato sauce did nothing to improve this dish. It could have been any store brand sauce from a jar, quickly heated in a microwave. The iced tea was served over ice so musty smelling it rendered the tea undrinkable. The scali bread was fresh, but the butter served with it was ice cold, hard, and unspreadable.
A disappointing dining experience. There was nothing at all delicious or satisfying about this meal. A horrible, school cafeteria quality mess of a meal. Why people rave about this place and return again and again is perplexing. Chateau, I wanted to love you. I just didn’t.
Great food always a win win 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for taking my request for a quiet table into account when seating our party. We celebrated my father’s 92nd birthday, and he is partially deaf. The ‘Alcove’ was a perfect choice.
Our server, Nate, was outstanding. Friendly, efficient and professional—and always smiling. Can you clone him?!
Thank you for helping to make Sunday such a special day for our family.
Food was great quality per usual. Staff was efficient !
Food, service very good. Moderately noisy.
Will go back.
Raw chicken. Rude management. Large party and all our food came out different times one of our family members got their food 25 minutes after others, awful experience.
I was underwhelmed by the food, the price and the ambience.
Excellent service a d delicious dinners.
great food and very friendly servers... highly recommended
I love this place, food is good, drinks good price is fair and services is great
We had a very nice meal and were pleasantly surprised at how many others were evidently enjoying theirs.
Did not have our reservations however they were able to accommodate. I think this played a part in the service as was not ready for our party
This is a good place for me to meet friends for lunch.
Had a weird smell and food wasn’t good at all... Great bathrooms though!!
Our waitress was very nice and attentive, but not hovering. The food was very good. We ordered a large variety of items from the menu: toasted ravioli, pizza, pasta, chicken piccata. Everything was tasty and well-prepared. The pizza was delicious, like the way the Chateau’s pizza in Waltham *used* to be. Mostly, our waitress went above and beyond, even finding out where the photos on the wall were taken. (We had expressed curiosity about the photos, as the landscapes were lovely and very nicely lit. She asked the manager, I suppose, and came back to let us know they were photos of the Cinque Terre in Italy. Thanks so much! We appreciated it!)
Bellisimo! Enjoyed our meals and our drinks. The mussels in olive oil and garlic were delicious. We ordered a mushroom pizza the following night, and that was perfect.....good til the last bite!👌
A local favorite that never disappoints.
Good enough quality all around for the price. Open table reservation worked perfectly
Server was excellent!
Good. Very tasty food
Sorry but not for me. Simple Italian dishes done plain and simple. No real flavor.
The waiter Michael was awesome, food was ok...Had seafood platter..nothing great..but ok
Very loud in there...The best part of dinner was Waiter..nice guy
Casual dining, family dining. Traditional dishes. I wouldn't choose it for a special occasion. Large seating area in the bar as well as dining room. The expected New England Italian entrees. Foodies will be disappointed. Toasted ravioli exists nowhere else - but if you like that, you'll like this version. Good enough for dinner, drinks, apps. Parking fills up fast because of the hotel and Chili's overflow.
Great food, great service and great night out with friends and family!!! Would highly recommend Chateau-Andover for your next night out!!!!!!!
Fairly basic Italian-American staples at an affordable price. Lot of parking, fast service, casual dress, very noisy.
The waitresses were very patient with us waiting for us to order especially Dolly.
Great evening with friends and not rushed through dinner
The food and service were excellent. The order from the bar was less to be desired, as the Raspberry Mojito's tasted more like Slo Gin Fizz. We mentioned this to our waitress, however she did not offer to replace the drinks, but rather brought us larger glasses filled with ice and water to dilute the drink.
We were in town on vacation and this restaurant was recommended by a friend. Nice find. Good food. Good service.
First off my husband loves the tripe there & very hard to find it anywhere else locally.
We were all pleased with our meals & had a terrific waitress. We requested a round table booth
and were easily accommodated. It is one of our favorite places to go & being right off the
highway is an added plus.
Good food, excellence service and great prices. We will be back.
Food was excellent. Waitress was good, but she had too many tables. Not her fault. Would definitely go back again.
Had the Lobster Ravioli. It was ok. Waitress was very friendly and helpful.
We love the Chateau! We always get a great meal with excellent service.
Wonderful service as always-- and our lunch for a party of 5 for a work event was outstanding. Food was hot, delicious and reasonably priced. My colleagues fully enjoyed our experience and we can't wait to go back! 2 of us had the eggplant parm, 1 had the calamari, 1 had the pasta and meatballs and 1 had "the trio" of chicken parm, toasted ravioli and I think meatball. No complaints from anyone-- we ate every bite. We all had dessert and it was fantastic. Our entire bill was under $100 before the tip. Can't beat it, especially for the quality of food. The servers also deserve a second mention as they are just so nice to everyone.
On the "specials" it read "kids eat free every Tuesday". We had two kids with us. Both ordered off the kids menu. We were charged full price for one kid's and kid's price for the other meal. When I brought it to the server's attention, she said the manager will correct the bill. Brought revised bill back with one kid's meal credited but the other one was still charged full price. I just paid the bill, as we had some place to be and it was getting late. All in all, meal was good, service was good (but a little slower at times when it started getting busy). I would go back again!
Small portions of food, got a clam and scollop plate. Sea scallops were cut down to make it look like you got more. Clams were far to few and tiny bellies. I never been there before, and always wanted to try it out. Now that I have,i won't be going back.
We found the food, service, and atmosphere to be exceptional, although I did think the prices were high.
Always a great meal for good value - best restaurant ever with Mass Keno
This place is OK. Not the best or the worst, but it's good for a bigger group and the food is decent. The service is GREAT. I'd get the toasted raviolis, house specialty and definitely the best of the meals we had. Overall I would probably go again just because its so convenient.
