For patio dining during the winter season, please dress appropriately for outdoor weather as we may not be able to move you to an inside table.

Butter lettuce served with roasted chicken, pecans, walnuts & fresh tarragon, mixed with sour cream mayonnaise dressing
Roasted filet of salmon, fresh herbs, white wine, served on bed of currant, pine nuts, couscous with haricot verts & baby carrots
7oz grilled Filet Mignon, celery root & potato puree, garlic sautéed shrimp, grilled asparagus, and Argentinian Chimichurri vinaigrette served on the side

We have wanted to try this restaurant for a long time as it has received great reviews. It is evident that there is a lot of attention to detail with both the presentation of food as well as the atmosphere. The waitstaff was very attentive and welcoming. The room we dined in was beautiful and tastefully decorated. There are a lot of options on the menu, especially for those who eat meat (only one or two options for those who don’t) and everything is a la carte, which definitely drives up the price. The appetizer portions are small and best shared among two. The food is very good, but also very expensive for what you get. The ratatouille was tasty but quite steep in price at $24 (a bowl of broth and a couple cups of perfectly cooked vegetables). The salmon is only $6 more which doesn't make sense as meat is so much more expensive than vegetables. Definitely recommend a change in price for the ratatouille. The sea bass was also good but pricey ($58) and didn't include a whole lot more than just the moderate piece of fish. The desserts we shared were fantastic—apple crisp and bread pudding. I did not see the price on those, but would guess they were also expensive. We were happy to see many other diners at the restaurant and were glad to support this industry. We will likely return in the near future, if only for the dessert. I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends but would include the caveat that it is expensive for relatively small portions of food.
Seated right away with a reservation and the service was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Food was tasty and the menu had great options. My only suggestion is to offer a birthday dessert, maybe they do and we just didn’t inquire but the hostess was aware it was my boyfriend’s birthday. Overall, it was very good and we will be back!
This beautiful place is an oasis in the Draper Desert of Food. The atmosphere, service and original dishes offer comfort food at its best. The attention to detail is evident everywhere, and it is obvious that the owners/chef/operators want to create a special dining experience for everyone. We were in the area for a month and went there 5 times; we just couldn't stay away. The best dish I had there was the Coq au Vin blanc. Do not miss an opportunity to dine there! Brunch is great, too!

Our experience at The Charleston was spectacular! The food, service and atmosphere were superb. Mason did a great job as our server. He didn’t hurry us and was very knowledgeable about the wine and food on the menu.
We told him he had a twin and when he asked who that would be we told him a young Tom Cruise. I think we made his day!

For a restaurant that touts itself as The Charleston does, it definitely didn't live up to it's self-proclaimed hype. Our appetizer and salad plates were not cleared before our dinner was served, even though our server walked past our table numerous times after we were finished, and the server said we would just "trade plates" with her as she served our entrees. Then the host told us that our table was reserved for another party and we needed to leave. Our server even came and draped the new tablecloth over the extra chair at our table as an additional hint. I've worked in the restaurant industry and dined at many upscale restaurants in the states and Europe (as recently as 12/13 at Restaurant Guy Lassausaie in Chasselay, France for my birthday,) and have NEVER been asked to vacate a table. I had already made a reservation to take my mother here in January, and am reconsidering if I want to give it another chance.
The food was amazing! Everything we ate, was just perfect. Very quiet and charming. We will definitely be back.

Great service and meal. Nice variety on menu. The Gaucho steak with sautéed shrimp was excellent as was the cheeseboard appetizer. Great finish with chocolate mousse for dessert. We’ve dined here before and will again. Great local spot.
I have been to The Charleston four times now and every time has been extraordinary. The food is presented beautifully and the taste is divine. I have tried several different meals and rate each one exceptional. It's my number one restaurant when I bring someone to impress! And they always are. The Chef, Marco, usually comes out to the table to greet you personally and be sure your experience has been positive. That adds another touch of class to the already amazing epicurean experience.
This was my second time to The Charleston. Charming warm building. The food was outstanding and the service was great. The best restaurant in Draper, Sandy. Maybe even the Salt Lake Valley. Big thumbs up!
Artichoke soufflé was just cheese melted. Wasn’t soufflé at all.
Overall it was an OK experience.
Quite expensive for what we’ve been served.
Not sure why I ordered halibut again…last time it tasted very fishy and this time no different. Never tastes that way at market street. My friends had the steak and said that was good. Maybe take the oldish fish off the menu? I will NOT order seafood there again. As there is not outdoor dining at the moment, the very small interior is very loud and you can hear everyone’s conversations. Summer is best here.
Chef Marco and his team do a great job. The food is always excellent and the service is great. This was our first time sitting in the upstairs part of the restaurant, very cool ambiance albeit a bit loud when you’re in the same room with a larger group.
The Charleston is our go to restaurant in the Sandy/Draper/Lehi area!

Wow!!! What an incredible dining experience! I heard about this restaurant from someone I met at the Salt Lake City airport. She raved about it, so I had to try it. I was not disappointed! The ambiance was lovely, the service was wonderful, and the food was outstanding! The menu had so many incredible options, we will definitely be going again in the near future! 5 Stars for Sure!

Fabulous food! Fabulous service! Sunday brunch. Sat outside - glorious! Try the porridge even if you think you do not like it! Outstanding experience in every way!
It was not a good place to visit. The owner was rude to our group at the arival and several times during our meal. The food was passable but the prices were very high and the food didnt justify the price. I ordered a steak med rare and it came out med well. That was the case for another member of our group as well. Our sever spilled water on my wife and seemed unconcerned about it. In the end it was just a bad place to visit and i will not be back and i advise all others to stay away as well

This place was absolutely delightful! The ambiance was an awesome our server Sara was super amazing and had great recommendations for our experience. The food was outstanding! We tried the brie, cobb salad and the filet mingnon. For dessert we had the pumpkin crem brulee. Everything was so delicious, prepared and cooked to perfection. We had a wonderful time!
This place is a gem, they were very flexible with me having to move my reservation around to later multiple times and we arrived they seated us quickly and provided a quiet for my date and I. The food, pricing and timeliness was excellent. Payton did a great job! I would absolutely recommend the Charleston to anyone.
