Didn’t eat this time but have before. Great atmosphere as per usual and really lovely staff. Such a nice pub to be back to for the first day of lockdown easing!

A good meal was enjoyed here.
the staff were very friendly and worked hard under the current Covid 19 regulations.

Half the marquee had come down under heavy snow which rather spoiled the view. Nut roast with goat's cheese topping was excellent and service friendly and attentive.

Friendly staff good beer what more could you want!

A lovely visit again, so well organised and great attention to current guidelines, we felt completely assured. The staff were friendly, helpful and we had a lovely evening, it’s our favourite place to go as a family.

Having visited in the evening once before and having had good food, service etc we were looking forward to returning for Sunday Lunch.
Booked a table for 2 on line - several times available. However service was ridiculously slow from ordering starter to receiving main course took 1 1/2 hours ( scallops followed by a standard roast dinner ) the side dish of vegetables looked great but were cold.
Had we been served in good time within a reasonable timespan this review would be much more positive as food is good. Had to miss desert as ran out of time !

The food was great cooked perfectly and very tasty. Even though it was really busy the service was still 5 star. Highly recommended

The atmosphere was very lively which was great - the food was 7/10 and all the staff were really super - very attentive especially considering how busy the venue was it makes a real change to have such enthusiastic people who really seemed to care that we were having a good time 😀

Always very good food and value for money. The only thong was that the last couple of times we have eaten here it has been cold to sit.

Fantastic mushroom brie and cranberry wellington. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, a little noisy but then it was a Friday night.
