We were in town going to see Blake Shelton and wanted some where close to eat and found this place. At first i thought it was going to be to fancy but turned out to be a great place, loved the food and the atmosphere, the people we're great And very friendly i made our reservation on line 10 min before they opened and got right in. One of the best parts about this place is it offers a trolley that took us back and forth to the concert so we didn't have to fight the crowed looking for a parking spot they dropped us off right by the door and picked us up right after didn't Have to wait long... i highly recommend you try this place out..

This has got to be the best restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The menu is creative and offers something for any pallet and any taste. The service and preparation is first class. It's a great find for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or just looking for delicious creative cuisine.

I was hoping and expecting a 5-star experience but was disappointed. We found The Chalkboard via Trip Advisor and chose it for its top ratings in Tulsa. We took some friends who were visiting us.

I had the Beef Wellington because it was suggested by our waiter as their most popular dish and what they are known for. The pastry was tough and thin. The pate was not noticeable. The beef was medium rare but not tender. I requested the mashed potatoes be exchanged for roasted small potatoes and butternut squash. They tasted as if they were pre-cooked and then warmed up.

The Caprese salad had a small piece of basil about 1.5 inches long...about 1/3 the basil needed for that size salad. Nothing notable or special.

We had the Espresso Creme Brulee. The top layer was an espresso gel substance instead of the burnt sugar signature texture. The Creme Brulee itself was cold. Our friends tried the bread pudding and it was nothing special.

The service was excellent.

I would not recommend The Chalkboard.

The food tasted amazing and we had fantastic service. Waiters were very friendly and easy going. Not sure it deserved the price tag associated with the menu items. Ordered two appetizers and our meals (with one other person), and left satisfied with nothing left on any plates. Great date place.

As usual I wasn't disappointed but proud that my friends had a lovely dinner.
I wanted to eat more of the acorn squash bowl that my vegan chili came in so I would have cooking it longer. Everything was great and the local flavor excellent. We’ll be back.

Returned to the Chalkboard to celebrate our 31st anniversary at the restaurant where we had our first date. The bruschetta was just right and the swordfish was well-prepared and imaginatively presented. Nice wine list. The crowd was a little noisy and casual for a fine dining experience, but that is coming from an old guy who still thinks dinner in a white-tablecloth restaurant is a special event.

The Chalkboard never disappoints. Their menu is varied by season enough that we can return again and again without getting bored. There are also some classics that always please, like the Beef Wellington. As usual, everything was perfectly cooked, service was excellent and you just can't beat the ambiance. The staff is attentive but not annoying. We also enjoyed our perfectly mixed drinks. There's not a better place to eat in Tulsa.

Very good dinner with special group. Food was excellent (pork chops, duck, and salmon special were all well prepared and tasty. Soup was a creamy sausage and kale and was excellent. Attentive service and lively atmosphere. Limited but good wine menu.

Literally the best steak I've had in my life. No exaggeration. I love meat, but I didn't realize it could be THAT good. I highly recommend the Beef Wellington (they say it's their signature dish). The steak was almost as tender as the mashed potatoes it was sitting on top of.

The cheese platter was also pretty darn incredible. As was the wine.

I can tell they are big on serving food with "opposite" flavors on the plate. Sweet to complement savory, etc. As a result, I really experienced a lot of creative flavors I've never experienced before.

It was also literally the most expensive meal I've paid for in my life. Though I will remember the way that steak tasted for years to come.
