   Had dinner in the bar and loved it once again! Marlon (Bartender) was great, engaging and took the time to talk to each customer and make a connection. This fine gentleman has found his calling. Had a filet with mashed potatoes and veggies. Added Truffle fries once again - SO GOOD! Washed it down with a few hand-crafted cocktails. Dine with confidence —> Well worth a trip out of your way to eat here!

   Stopped by today for an early dinner and it did not disappoint. I sat in the bar as I was by myself and got the pleasure of meeting the amazing bartender Marlon.  He was the engaging, kind, caring server, and bartender that you always wish you have. He asked my name and remembered it all throughout dinner. He was knowledgeable and attentive ==> What a rockstar. On top of that, the truffle Parm fries and the beef Wellington appetizer were superb. Perfect portion, great value and I was able to enjoy both with a handmade old-fashioned. What a cool restaurant in a seemingly even more amazing hotel… I cannot wait to go back to Tulsa to dine there again!

   Made reservations for 7:15pm and we were seated promptly. We choose to eat at a high top in the bar area and maybe that was our mistake. Waiting a long time for the bartender to come take our drink order however, the drinks came out very quickly as well as the appetizers. We had been finished with the appetizers for quite sometime before she came to clear the table and ask what we would like for an entree. We then waited 30 minutes to get the food. Not saying it was the bartender but could have been the kitchen (and they weren't that busy) however, maybe since we sat at the bar the kitchen put our order behind the main dining rooms orders? Not sure and no explanation was given. Unfortunately, both my husband and I had stomach aches through the night (we ate the same things) and indigestion. Never had this happen before eating there. Could have just been an off day but my husband won't be going back since there are so many restaurants in Tulsa now that offers better service. It was a disappointing evening out.

   The Sea Bass was AMAZING!! The server staff was A+++ sweet, communicative, not overly intrusive. I made a no dairy request, and everything was done perfect. Had breakfast the next AM and everything right down to the service was just as good as the night before!

   Excellent choice for Easter Brunch and birthday celebration. The cheese board appetizer was spectacular and our our main meal was delicious. Three of us had Eggs Benedict and one enjoyed Crab Cake Benedict. Top it off with your White Chocolate Bread pudding and the meal was amazing. Our wait staff was very helpful and friendly. Some of us had enjoyed the ChalkBoard about 20 years ago while we stayed at the Ambassador for a family wedding. We remembered that experience and found this visit to be as good or better than then. Hopefully it will not be another 20 years before we enjoy you again!

    Our service was top notch. Everything else was not worth leaving the house for. We waited ten minutes to be seated (we had a reservation) because the staff just kept walking around us and we couldn't get anyone to talk to us. The downstairs room they finally put us in for the Easter brunch smelled like death. The food was bland and cold. It was $21 for two eggs, two strips of bacon, breakfast potatoes, and 2 tiny slices of gluten free toast. We decided that was the last time we will go to The Chalkboard.
