   We had the striploin steak, which was good. We also had a pasta dish. I found the pasta a little too starchy. Overall, our experience was amazing because of our server. She was amazing.

   Thursday is date night and we enjoy new places and exploring and experiencing neighborhoods. This downtown Cleveland restaurant did not disappoint. We started with Nonnas meatballs as the appetizer and finished with gelato. And went downstairs to the Vault to poke around the bar and funky rooms that make it up. If you get lucky you’ll have Kelly as your server.

   Stopped in for the first time for lunch. Service was wonderful and the meal was truly delightful. Moderately expensive but I thought it was well worth it! This isn’t your typical hotel restaurant experience and if you are in n Cleveland I highly recommend it. Anxious to come back for dinner!

   Always heard great things about the newer restaurant on the block The Centro. Well, I have to say it was everything everyone told me and more! The staff is very knowledgeful on the menu and made some great suggestions. The ambiance and decor are just wonderful. It is a great spot for a date, show, or a bite and cocktail before the game. Being a wine person myself I was also pleasantly surprised with the wine selection and the fact that it was very approachable and most of all fit the theme of the restaurant and the food it serves. Overall, a 10 out of 10 experience. I will definitely be back soon!

    My experience at The Centro restaurant in Cleveland was disappointing. The service was average, with a lack of attentiveness. They were also out of many menu choices, limiting our options. To make matters worse, the prices were extremely high for the quality of the food. Overall, the dining experience fell short of expectations. A Mother's Day disaster.

    we wanted to like The Centro but my entire party agreed it was a fairly poor overall experience--- from the moment we walked in and the abrupt/poor greeting, to the mediocre food and drinks, it did not live up to expectations. the service was poor, but it seemed like this restaurant was poorly managed and unorganized--- the servers didn't seem to know much about the menu, and were put in an awkward position when they repeatedly had to return to our table to let us know that food/drinks that we ordered were no longer available. unless this place gets turned around quickly it will meet the same fate as its predecessor Adega

    The food had potential but was cold by the time it was served. Eggs that should have been runny (Benedict) were cooked through. Waiter's demeanor felt like he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. The whole place seemed understaffed and maybe overwhelmed? It was mother's day brunch.

    We waited a long time for our food probably about an hour ! I get it with Mother’s Day it’s so busy but our food was barely warm and was missing sauce on our eggs Benedict meal ! The egg on it was also done hard and was suppose to be poached ! Also sat in the valet line for 20 before a guy finally came up to the car and said it is closed except if staying at the hotel overnight! When my brother said thanks for telling me now you could at least have a sign out , the valet kid shouted” don’t cop an attitude with me buddy” very sad and unprofessional for a very nice place as the 9! Don’t think we will be back 😕

    Exceptional food and service at Centro last night! The veal parmigiana, the evening special, and salmon were both cooked to perfection. The shrimp appetizer were some of the largest and most delicious I’ve had. The cocktails and wine were a bit too expensive, but great tasting nonetheless. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if dining in Cleveland as I’ve dined in many, this is near the top.

    Saturday brunch for two at 10:30 was delightful. We chose the Farm Fresh Eggs Breakfast and the Centro Main Omelet. Both were perfect. We shared a Limoncello Flight -- what a great idea for brunch! Our server was attentive, thoughtful, cheerful, and unobtrusive -- just perfect.

    Dinner was very underwhelming. Charcuterie board looked like a three year old put it together. My daughters meal was cold had to send it back. The Prosecco cocktail was warm, not chilled at all. A very expensive meal that just wasn’t good. We will not be back.

    We were seated for over 12 minutes as I checked and no one came over to our table. We had to go to hostee stand to ask her to have someone come to our table. I was very disappointed. I will say that once we were waited on our server was attentive. The food was average Nothing to call home about. I will not be going back because of the service. Very disappointed 😞.

    Overall, our experience was perfect for a night out for my fiancé’s birthday, BUT Beau was exceptional and he is the reason I’m leaving this positive review!     The service and the food were excellent. However, I will say that the portion of pasta was very small, it looked like a half order and it was $30. Everything else was portioned properly and tasted delicious but I left not feeling satisfied.

    The Centro is so easy to get to in Downtown Cleveland. Cocktails are grand and the food outstanding! Service is professional and efficient. The filet mignon was one of the best! Cooked medium perfectly and seasoned to perfection. However, the surprise of the night was the sautéed mushrooms! I will order them again for certain.     In town for 1 night. Picked it off open table. Best decision on a restaurant. Pizza amazing, chick Parma large and tasty, bolognese was fabulous. Portions are large but delicious. Ask for William as your server.

    Had a pre-show dinner at Centro. The ambiance and decor was very nice. Our server was outstanding. However, the value for the food was seriously lacking. There are nicer restaurants in the downtown area that have better quality food and larger portions for the same or even lower price. While we enjoyed it, we will most likely choose other restaurants in the future.

    Highly recommend! Enjoyed octopus and prawn appetizer. For dinner, enjoyed braised short ribs and Chilean sea bass. Get the tiramisu! Amazing service and high quality food.

    Our server Lisa was outstanding! She took great care of us and even helped us with our off-menu requests. Funny, kind and super helpful! She made our dining experience exceptional. Extra kudos to Chef for making our off-menu request (an outstanding veal piccata) and personally delivering to our table). Highly recommend.

    My first trip to The Centro was a good one. Bo gave great service and the shrimp appetizer and Italian Chopped Salad were both fabulous. I order the special, veal piccata and was disappointed for a few reasons. It was by no means bad but I do not like fried or flashed-fried anything and this was to my surprise. Also, I feel that the server should have told me that it was a bone-in veal chop that could have served 2 people. While I never mind paying for great food, this veal, a few fingerling potatoes and two pieces of asparagus, it was not worth the price they charged for it. Regardless, next time I know to ask more questions and will still recommend people to go to this good restaurant.

    The restaurant had a great feel to it. The food was good, especially the sea bass, however, we never received the bread service. Also, as a warning, don't let aggressive parking attendants bully you into pre-paying $50 CASH for parking when it is validated through the restaurant and you can pay using a credit card.
