The Caxton Arms is well worth adding to your eat-out-radar for those days when you need good food at a sensible price in an unfussy atmosphere. The food is tasty Thai, delivered with excellent service and, for me, washed down with a pint of Whitstable Bay Pale Ale. Yum.

When we turned up for our booking on time, the table had already been given away, without the staff checking that the people actually had the booking for the table! Not only did they make little effort to rectify the situation, they barely even apologised for what happened.

recommended by a family member thought we would try dinner at this little pub in the back streets near the station.myself and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the meal portions are huge, food was very tasty , and good value for money definately be going again

Casual local pub with great Thai food. Good service and simple but well executed Thai food (including a few offerings other than the traditional red and green curries).

Disappointed with this meal. My starter of calamari was undercooked. My main of soft shell crab was a mound of crab in a heavy yellow curry. Thing that troubled me most was that it was only warm on the outside yet pretty hot on the inside. Gave me indigestion Royale later that night.My wife's tempura veg starter was good but her pad Thai main was very ordinary.
