Enjoyable from start to finish
Food was disappointing this time. Had the Asian meatballs will never order them again. We also found the drink prices a little high.
Pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Service was amazing and very personable. The food was outstanding and flavorful. We savored every bite. Looking forward to spending many evenings here again with friends.
We have been several times and food is consistently good. Service is prompt and personal with great recommendations from our server. A little pricey for portion sizes but overall a good pick
The happy hour is not much of anything, very disappointing. The menu lists flatbreads, we ordered one and it was anything but a flatbread. They should call it a mini personal pizza ... definitely didn’t have anything close to a thin crust!!! The salad with lobster was bland with barely a trace of dressing. The wine we ordered was very good though.
Not sure if we will give The Cave another chance.
Waiter was fabulous. Food was great. We will be back!
Excellent service, knowledgeable and extremely attentive. Food was exquisite!
Great service, great food, great ambiance. Good thing they can accommodate only a few tables, otherwise it would be difficult to converse with you guests.
The server said he wanted to surprise me with a wine selection (he didnt like what I picked). When the bill came, I found out his recommendation was a $21 glass of wine, about $7 more than what I had initially tried to order. Not cool.
As usual, everything was great. I was disappointed to see that Lucas was no longer there , as he made us feel very special. But I'm sure someone will will step in. Will definitely return.
Our waiter corbit was awesome. Made the trip and the food was all fab. Drinks were yummy going back everytime we come to naples.
Interesting decor. Wondered why we were the only ones in restaurant on busy Monday nite. Food was good, waiter friendly, but based on what friends and I saw the wine store connected to restaurant was busier. Fear restaurant not going to be able to support itself.
This was my second time dining at The Cave. The atmosphere has a unique feel to it. Small restaurant, kind of dark and intimately lit. I love the varied seating; sofas, chairs, tables, and nice bar. Very nice wine and specialty liquors adjacent that would be perfect for events/parties. I will definitely return.
Great place for a date. Service was outstanding, food & wine wonderful. The prices were a bit high, even for Naples in season.
Can’t wait to go back
Enjoyed Corbin as he was extremely knowledgeable on all of the wines
We only had wine this visit. The service from Athens was fantastic. My only complaint was it was loud and not as intimate as I was hopi g. I would return.
Great find, food was excellent and service was great. Good wine selection and even mor available in the attached wine store. Our waiter Corbin was vey attentive and helped with our food selection. All the staff were really friendly, very knowledgeable and really made dinner a great experience.
No specials communicated, no bread for the table. I ordered a Margarita for $13 came in a small champagne type glass. Appetizer chicken Marsala meatballs was cold. Short rib chewy . First and last time at this restaurant.
We took our daughter and husband there and they loved it. My husband and I had been there one time before and thought it was very unique. Our waiter was Corbin, he was attentive, friendly and gave us honest suggestions for food and wine. We had a blast, will definitely go back.
We had a 5:30 reservation for 6 people; when we arrived, all the tables were open and we asked to be moved because we were literally sitting in a doorway. Our very rude waitperson told us they were all reserved and that we couldn't move. He was very terse in answering our questions and wasn't very helpful with the menu. We ordered and were served and the restaurant tables began to fill at 6:45; two tables had only one person at them. We were waiting to get our waiter's attention for our check but he was very involved in conversation with one woman and a large table with no one else at it. We finally got our checks and by that time the tables were filling up. We could have been moved to another table in plenty of time for the reservations; these were probably regulars as the waiter was quite engaged in conversations with the two women at two tables. This was our second time there; first was right after they opened. Food was just so-so; pricy grilled cheese and chicken meatballs not to anyone's liking. Won't be back anytime soon.
2 hour wait time for food. Ordered steak medium rare came out well done.
Service was extremely slow! The air conditioning was so high that we had to sit outside, which their patio is unappealing.
March 2. Enjoyed
My husband and I went here before a show. We had an excellent server and the food was very good. Dessert, not so much. I think it was the way the restaurant is set up that didn't please me. No intimate tables for two, unless you want to sit on a couch to eat. Like I said, food was very good. It just lacked the ambiance I expected from a place called The Cave.
In Season, no wait. Courteous professional staff. Great Drinks, Good food. Will be going back.
Pretty neat place. Very unique. Loved it. Recommend going with friends.
Started out with a wine tasting next door. Didn’t love any of the wines, but had a good time and Kimberly was a wealth of knowledge. Moved to the Cave for tapas style dinner. Tried Marsala meatballs, lobster Mac, short rib flatbread and hoisin meatballs. All tasty but Hoisin was the winner. It’s a great place for dinner with our group of four because you can hear everyone at the table. Also, Waiter recommended a good wine for our meal that we thought was a good value.
Service was excellent. Knowledge in various wines and pairing with dishes spot on. And good value, not too pricey.
very quiet the night we were there...excellent food, our server was extremely knowledgeable about the wine (he recommended one we hadn't tried, and now we plan to purchase multiple bottles if we can)...definitely going to become one of our regular dining-out spots...
Scallops and brussel sprouts were superb
Fun place, small plates, great lobster roll and mussels. Wonderful wines. Place has a wonderful, unique decor, worth a trip.
Staff very accommodating. Ambience super cool. Hard to find. Salmon cookedperfectlu
Good selection of sharable plates as well as entrees. We enjoyed a selection of appetizers and were pleased with the quality. Wine by the glass is expensive. Next time we will try Happy Hour choices. Overall an enjoyable evening.
This is a great place for wine and appetizers and dinner. They are knowledgeable about wine and service is great. The value is second to none for wine and selection is great.
I love the decor, small and cave-like. There is not a hostess- it is seat yourself. It took a while to get someone to come over and give menus and take a drink order. The food came quickly and was good, small plates as the menu said. We had flatbread and a sandwiches. I think this is a place to go for a drink after dinner or dessert after dinner.
Great dining experience. Loved the atmosphere and both the food & service were terrific. A bit pricey even for Naples but at least it was worth it.
We went to The Cave for dinner expecting tapas, but the small plates menu was very small. We ordered entrees instead which were good, but nothing special. Our main issue was with the waiter being inattentive and dismissive of our questions.
We are local, but haven't been to The Cave until now. Wine-knowledgeable family were visiting, so seemed the perfect choice. We enjoyed 3 bottles of wine between 2 couples, a cheese board, then ordered entrees. All were very good/above average. The waitperson was very helpful on wine and food selections. We will come back. Our only complaint is the main room is very small, and it is extremely loud. Very difficult to have conversation...
Great place. Yes, the food is a little expensive, but it's tapas, so we expected that, but the quality of the food was great! Definitely try the Pork Belly Boa!!! I would go back again just for that!
This was our first first to the Cave. We loved the atmosphere and the wait staff was helpful, attentive and enthusiastic. The food prep was slow and the waiter accommodated the delay with complimentary wine. The food prep was average. Probably best to stay with the meat and cheese plates! Good play to meet for just a few glasses of wine and snack. We will try it again.
