   The Cavaliere Restaurant is very good. We have eaten here on numerous occasions over the last 40 years. My husband and I also had our wedding reception there 17 years ago. We have always found the food and service excellent and would recommend it to anyone visiting Dalkeith. There have been several major upgrades over the years which adds to the general feel of the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful without being over bearing. One of the best places to eat and or have a quiet drink in the area.

   Had a lovely dinner with family. Food was lovely. Staff lovely and helpful. Service fab and food came quickly. Lovely experience.

   I would highly recommend the Cavaleire to anyone who has not had the pleasure of dining there. Everything about our dinner was special. From the food to the staff everything was 100%.

   Quality off food was terrible. I ordered a carbonara it was dry. Also has a meat feast pizza came in a terrible state looked like it had been dropped and kicked up ans down the kitchen before being served. There was a couple arguing on the phone and crying in the dinning room also. Made my experience very uncomfortable and and awkward. I ordered a chicken and chips off the kidd menu for my child also the chips were covered in salt I had to send it back as this is not appropriate for a young child.

    We had a lovely evening on our first visit to The Cavaliere. The staff were lovely the food was lovely and the restaurant was very nice indeed. A hidden gem it’s so nice inside we were well,impressed.
