This is a very nice looking restaurant and catered well for kids. The staff is friendly and the food fantastic. It cost around £50 for myself and two kids, so it is not the cheapest option in town, but the food is excellent.

We always enjoy our time at the cavalier it's a good atmosphere and we love Yani he is a lovely man.My husband said the mussels he had as a main were big and juicy and his sauce was delicious. Good cocktails also

The Cavaliere Restaurant is very good. We have eaten here on numerous occasions over the last 40 years. My husband and I also had our wedding reception there 17 years ago. We have always found the food and service excellent and would recommend it to anyone visiting Dalkeith. There have been several major upgrades over the years which adds to the general feel of the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful without being over bearing. One of the best places to eat and or have a quiet drink in the area.
