we usually enjoy our Catherine Wheel Sunday Lunch but this time it was frankly awful. The roast veg was hard and the Yorkshire puddings were burnt and undeniable. Our waitress was quite rude and we didn't feel approachable so we ate what we could and left. We wont be hurrying back.

We were not acknowledged when we first arrived, the bar men were chatting to each other and another customer without even acknowledging us standing in front of them, overall welcome was poor, sat outside and seats were not clean, food was “ok” nothing special. Expensive for what it was. Unfortunately the first impressions really let it down. Won’t be returning.

Unfortunately the roast dinner was let down by the potatoes not being good and the Yorkshire puddings were a bit dry and hard Meat was lovely Fish & Chips were amazing

Always have a fantastic meal, staff are super friendly & helpful. They even provide children’s cutlery! Restaurant is always clean and maintained to a high standard.

A lovely afternoon spent with family in the garden. Food and service great. And the friendly staff made a fuss of Archie the dog.

This is the first time I have been to Catherine Wheel for many years and we were very glad that we made this decision . The food was very good as as well as the drinks selection but the lunch was made really enjoyable by the excellent friendly staff.

Excellent family restaurant, spacious, good menu choices. Very helpful to one of our party who has multiple allergies. They suggested we contact them in advance to ensure they could provide something more exciting. I love the Vegan burger. Great garden for children.
