I’ve done many tastings but this one was our favorite. We have already rebooked another visit. Great staff. Comfortable environment. So many little extras like the tea, and the petite tasting. The food was outstanding, we couldn’t even pick a fav. Well balanced and flavorful. Special and refined. Masterclass in fine dining.

Our first time in Catbird Seat's brand new space! The main dining area was beautiful -- the counter is much larger and it had a nice pace of guests. All of the staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. We appreciated the peaceful open kitchen concept, and the easy conversation with them while they prepped. All of the dishes were fascinating experiments; some were delicious standouts (the opening tart, as well as the halibut). The only thing I might recommend is adding one or two lights in the dark vestibule outside of the restaurant. That was a little dark as we were leaving! Overall, fabulous birthday atmosphere with a wonderful atmosphere.

cool spot, nice ambiance, loved the U shaped table with open kitchen, great staff, very attentive. strictly talking food i loved it half as much. i did the full 15 course tasting with wine pairing. 2-3 dishes were memorable, several dishes were just fine, and several dishes just didnt hit, a couple were downright salty yuck including what i would call a shot of palmetto cheese. for about $350, we deserve better food imo. in fairness, i dined at the Angler in San Fran last week, it is a 1 star Michelin, priced lower and was outstanding, very balance

The start of our anniversary dinner was lacking in that as we exited the elevator to what we thought was the restaurant we were greeted by a neighboring host and told that Adam will be us shortly to escort us to our seats. After about 15 minutes of standing in front of the elevator, as there was no place to sit, someone else that had a reservation asked about their seats as the waiting had already put us late to our dinner. A gentleman came out shortly after and escorted the other couple to their seats, about 10 minutes later he came out and got us. As we were walked in I noticed that there was a really nice bar area that would have been really nice to have had the chance to enjoy and have a person we beverage. After we made it to our seats, our dinner turned around and became a very nice experience. I did the wine pairing, and my wife took the small pairing, and our dinner began course after course the food was delicious well timed, and as expected, the wine pairing matched up very nicely And became a very enjoyable experience. We have a one course where they offered a tempura, battered Swiss chard with citrus salt that was overbearingly salty however, the rest of the dish was spot on each of the cooks greeted us and introduced the courses telling us about the special natures of itch ingredient And a little bit of why they chose that dish. The Sommelier came out course by describe the wine and why she had chose them, they offered a Vina ard Ardanza reserve that was absolutely delicious. We finished off with a trio of strawberry desserts, each taking us in different directions and absolutely delicious all in all our dinner was a very nice journey. Just wish the beginning had thoughtful direction for guests.

This iconic Nashville restaurant is truly a gem unlike any other. The new space is stunning but still feels very familiar in a good way and the current chefs Andy Doubrava and Tiffani Ortiz menu really blew me away. Each dish was thoughtful, creative and beautifully presented. Their approach to ingredients, flavors and textures really impressed me and will definitely be back.
