   The sunday lunch was amazing! Huge portions. The cauliflower and leek bake was so creamy...but were pretty sure we didn't have any leeks in it 😂. The gravy was the best I've had in a long time. My only complaint would be the service. While the staff were lovely, we were seated given our drinks and then waited so long that I had to go up and ask if we could order our food. The staff were very apologetic and once ordered the food came out really quick. However, when it came to the bill we again had to go up to the bar as no staff were around.

   Menu was fantastic, changed my mind 3 or 4 times as to what to have. Service was great, very friendly staff even when very busy. Food was sensational. Very tasty food, presented well and excellent quality. I would advise you give it a try.

   Lovely roast on Sunday booked very last minute so I think we may have been lucky to get a table! They do smaller portions for children which is good and half the price almost of an adult which I think it good value.

   Reserved a table ahead of a gig at the castle. As expected, it was very busy. We were seated at a table but someone else told us they had ordered food against it. Another couple also said they’d reserved our table in particular. The problem was there were no reservation signs on the tables which would have stopped the awkwardness. The place was heaving and the staff did well to keep up. We ordered burgers which were a little overcooked and the rolls over-toasted but still tasty.

    A big thank you to Dewi for looking after us! It was so busy due to the concert in the castle but Dewi kept his cool and provided excellent service. Thank you
