The pub was closed and it allowed my book this. Totally ruined my evening I had to find parking and walk in the rain to find out it was locked there was no signs out saying closed either. Then walked back to the car in the rain to look for somewhere else to eat.

We went to our venue the case is altered as booked and the venue was shut down- we were not impressed as they shouldn’t take our booking

Thankyou open table, you sent me 2 emails saying that my table was booked for a special 80th birthday. We got there and the pub had shut down!!!!!! No where to go with elderly people on a Sunday lunch time. Awful service. 😭😭😭😭

Turned up at the venue to find out it was closed with no notification. The note on the door said it was closed from 1st January. Disappointed children who had been looking forward to a Sunday roast and nowhere else nearby open with a table.

Fish & chips, venison sausages, duck liver pate, trad xmas meal are a few of the items we have sampled. Wow is the summary wrt taste and quality :-) Quality fresh produce used. Prepared perfectly. Staff friendly and professional. Throughly recommend.

Delicious roast beef Sunday lunch, it is always so good. Pub very quiet presumably because of the rising covid cases. We were quite surprised none of the staff were wearing masks, given the high rate of infection spread at the moment.
