In the 70s Asian Fishermen that immigrated to the US Gulf Coast took the traditional Louisiana Creole inspired crawfish boil and enhanced the recipe. They added Asian aromatics to the boil - lemon grass, ginger - serving it with garlic butter and a blend of Asian spices. This created a crawfish boil that is full of unique flavours. The Captain's Boil is first in Thornhill to bring you this fresh, flavourful, and fun experience. We take the freshest seafood, toss it in a blend of secret, Asian inspired spices and aromatics. We serve it messy to let you enjoy it in a fun and unique way.

    One of the Captain's favourites. This mini lobster look a like is high in protein, low in fat, and is a must-try! just twist off where the head meets the body, peel off the shell, and enjoy

      Shipped daily fresh out of the water, this monster of the sea is known for its tender and hearty meat. A perfect match with the Captain's Boil secret sauce!

      • Dungeness Crab

        This delicious crab is rich and sweet in flavour and meaty at the same time. Make sure you order this dish with a side of corn!

        • King Crab Legs

          Spiky and hard on the out side, tender and juicy on the inside. Crack open this baby for a treat made for royalty!

          • Snow Crab Legs

            Also known as "queen crab", the snow crab is known for its many long and delicious legs. With its more delicate shell, this cold-climate crust oceans are fit for a king (and a queen)!

            • Shrimp

              Not your ordinary shrimp, The Captain's Boil shrimp are extra tender and flavourful. Give'em a try to see the difference yourself!

              • Clams

                Perfect gems that are flavourful and chewy all at once. Just open up the shell and claim your prize!

                                                                                              Off season prices are ridiculous. No utensils I understand but no seafood forks/picks when ordering crustaceans only is a little annoying. Fun concept nonetheless and pretty tasty spice herb blend.

Above and beyond with my request with reservation also for having my special request of my pre order. I'm happy they took my request. I was really hungry so when I got there it was prepared quickly.

                                                                                              My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised. The food was so tasty. The crab and seafood rice was great! Still thinking about it. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone who wants a messy feast of seafood!

                                                                                              We didn't know what to expect as this was our first time. Don't wear good clothes! lol Better be OK with digging in with your hands and getting messy. Great food and flavours. Will definitely return.
