   I was very excited to go to capital Grille here in the Woodlands, Texas. It was very disappointed with the ambience, not really up to capital Grille standards that I’ve been to in other cities. It took over 20 minutes to get a drink in the bar and it really wasn’t that busy. The food was OK, but not better than Perry’s here in the Woodlands. Also both thw appetizers and entrees came out missing items and were just wrong on a couple of people in our group of six. Very disappointing.

   The food is exceptional. The service is not good. We had dinner shortly after this location opened and the service was not great. We assumed service would improve as things settled. Several months later, the same service issues exist. We’ve never had such poor service at any other capital grill location.

   Wonderful dining experience! It was truly the most enjoyable lunch experience I’ve had in The Woodlands. The service was exceptional, and the food was amazing!

   The steak was top notch and cooked perfectly. The seafood (scallops and lobster) was fresh and prepared perfectly. But what put the evening over the top was the Service. Tamara was fantastic and managers made us feel welcome. Well done all around.

   I am sorry to say this dinner was awful. This was our anniversary dinner and I could not be more disappointed. We both ordered the wedge salad, and by appearance, it looked dumped on the plate in a hurry. We both only had 2-3 pieces of bacon, and the dressing was slapped on the plate and was all over. Hubby ordered the strip and seemed to be fine. I ordered the filet medium well and got a piece of dry charcoal. The meat was so beyond burnt. I tried eating without making a fuss and finally had to give up. At that point, I was so annoyed that I just wanted to go home. When I got up to use the ladies' room, my husband notified the waiter, but it was too late. For me, my anniversary dinner was ruined. The waiter tried but was overly chatty and tried to be too familiar. He brought us, without us ordering, some fish mousse thing... but neither of us eat fish. Then, as a sweet gesture, gave me a rose, but I have incredibly bad allergies and had to leave it. To add insult to injury, our table was located in such a way that everyone passing by was walking into one of our chairs or our table and the loudness in the restaurant was intollerable. Overall this dinner was a complete and expensive flop. We just should have stayed home. We will not be back.

   We recently celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday at The Capital Grille in The Woodlands, and it was truly an unforgettable evening. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and genuinely celebratory. The staff went above and beyond to make our daughter feel special, adding personal touches throughout the night that made the evening even more memorable. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts, was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The steaks were among the best we’ve ever had — flavorful, tender, and expertly prepared. The ambience of the restaurant was elegant and inviting, striking the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable, ideal for a special occasion like this. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting to celebrate such an important milestone. Thank you to The Capital Grille Woodlands team for making my daughter’s Sweet 16 so incredibly special. We will definitely be back!

    Never seen a more disgusting display of greed. I had a reservation for 2.5 weeks and then when I show up on time for my fiancé's birthday, I am asked to wait in the bar area. Then as I sat there for over half an hour, I watched multiple parties get seated as soon as they walked in. When I asked about this they tried to tell me that too many people made a reservation at the same time as me. What's the point of a reservation then? What kind of schedule are you people running? Have a little pride in the fact that you make $200+ per table. Maybe stop letting your employees stand around and talk. Maybe run your schedule better. Maybe turn walk-ins away if they do not have a reservation. If I want to shell out my hard earned money and not get a fine dining experience, I will have dinner at McDonalds. I know these folks are not this incompetent. They just want to get as many people through as they can, even if it means giving your reservation away to a walk-in. Straight up greed over quality. It's a desperate look. So honestly, just save yourself the trouble and the money, and walk over to their neighbor, Yard House.
