    What I love about TCG is not only the quality of the ingredients in the food and the specials, but also their flexibility to go above and beyond when it comes to special requests. I was at a pizza place in CR and I asked for them to not put onions on a special pizza they had. They said absolutely not as that is how the chef wants the pizza to be. At TCG, not only are they willing to make their brand standard recipes, but the chef will come to your table if you ask to make pretty much anything they have the ingredients for. I tried their new salad with scallops which was excellent and I wanted to have the best burger in Costa Rica, but I wanted to add a fried egg to it, and without question, it happened and it was excellent.

    Mi comida estuvo bien, pero la carne de mi esposo tuvimos que devolverla porque no la cocinaron el termino que a él le gusta y no es la primera vez que pasa. El chef que hay ahora no logra dar el término de 3/4 en la carne algo tan básico en un restaurante de este nivel. Lástima porque es un restaurante caro y lo que uno espera es poder disfrutar la comida. El mesero excelente atención

    I love going to TCG for lunch. I can get in and out in less than an hour (if I need to) and have a great meal. No other white table cloth restaurant in CR has that level of service or quality of food and presentation. I loved the salmon today- asked for it to be served with asparagus and cooked with just olive oil, salt and pepper. Alfredo was great and provided a great level of service, attention- and when he found out I had a meeting to run to, he told the other staff and every one of them stepped in to make sure we received our food, drinks, and check to get out as quickly as possible.

    The bacon slab appetizer is very unique in CR. While many other locations have an Asian themed taste, the bacon 🥓 in CR is smoked with coffee wood and have the perfect texture- c firm on the outside with a soft tasty inside that just melts almost like Kobe Beef does when served and cooked properly.

    Como siempre, la atención es exquisita, el servicio y la comida de muy buena calidad, nos ofrecieron un Waygu que personalmente no llenó mis expectativas y ese fue el único punto bajo de la experiencia

    They served one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The medium rare was well seared on the crust and perfect pink on the inside. To be fair it was also a great cut of beef. The service staff were personable but not intrusive. They were very knowledgeable about their products. And made a very relaxed dining experience.

    An extremely disappointing dining experience occurred at Capital Grille, Costa Rica. The bone-in ribeye steak, priced at $79, arrived underwhelmingly. It lacked seasoning and was served at room temperature. Despite our prompt notification to the server that the steak was cold, it was returned to the table, having been cooked from medium-rare to well-done. Despite our repeated requests, the server failed to escalate the matter to a manager, and no manager visited our table. The overall experience was marred by significant shortcomings, particularly given the substantial cost of our meal, which approached $300. I anticipate a higher level of service and quality from Capital Grille, especially considering the investment we made.

    TCG has the best quality and most tender filet in CR. I asked for it to be served Au Poivre style which is usually done on the NY Strip. But Josue the chef was able to do it with perfection. The filet was cooked to a perfect medium plus as I had asked - and the peppercorn crust and Courvoisier sauce added the perfect amount of taste and flavor to go along with it. A 10/10!

    El clima del restaurante es helado, al poco tiempo la carne estaba fría y la grasa coagulada, les comenté pero creo que no les interesa, por lo demás todo muy bien.

    TCG has the perfect temperature set for everything. The restaurant itself is kept at a great temperature so that you can wear a suit and not be warm- great for business lunches and to keep out the heat and humidity from outside. The food is always served at the perfect temperature- salads are cold and served on a cold plate, shrimp cocktail on ice, and the steaks and food on a warm plate. I saw someone on another review complaining about their food getting cold. If your food is getting cold while you are there, maybe you should spend a little less time on your phone and focus on enjoying the meal experience. I asked for my steak to be served on a plate of sizzling butter and the chef was able to make it happen. It was still warm when Gustavo came to pick up the empty plate- so gooood!
