Great birthday dinner before symphony performance. French Onion soup is the very best I have ever had. Steak and lobster dinner is very well prepared and a very tasty. Complementary dessert was a surprise and appreciated.

Truly exceptional. Thanksgiving turkey meal available along with their full menu. Five of us enjoyed seafood apps, soups, steak, turkey and desserts. Everything was perfectly prepared and so good. Such a lovely experience.

We sat next to a noisy family with kids which slightly diminished the experience. Why do parents let their children run around at a restaurant?? Whatever. The food was good and the service was great.

Our favorite place to dine before the theatre. Not many restaurants to choose from on Sundays in Salt Lake. The Capital Grille is always consistent with amazing service and cuisine.

We celebrated my nieces 18th birthday at the restaurant, and it could not have been more special. They had a card at the table, confetti, and a beautiful dessert presentation. Our server, Autumn, was the best, she made us laugh and took great care of us the whole time. Probably the best French onion soup I’ve ever had! Plus all the different rubs and butter compounds for the steaks were to die for!

We hosted friends from overseas and they were so pleased with the quality of food and the experience. From the team of hostesses lead by Kylie to the bartender name Ashley to our server name Daniel and the manager Will as well as Katherine and Carrie, best steak house in SLC.

We love Capitol Grille. We have been treated so well. Food and cocktails are always incredible. Special shout-out to the GM Bill for going out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. We will never go to another steakhouse in SLC.

We have been to another Capital Grille in Vegas and our experience in Salt Lake was not as good. The waiter was not very friendly. One of our steaks was very underdone and when we asked to have it cooked a little longer he almost seemed annoyed. But besides that, our food was excellent. I would go back again and hopefully have a different waiter next time.

This place is going down hill fast! Regret any of my countless visits here or numerous people sent there over the past years it has been open. Food has fallen off since anyways. Lamb chops used to hit now they are just small and dried up. I could go on about how many more dishes have gotten worse but just don’t wast your time here. Anything else on the menu could be good or bad no consistency form any Chef. Manger lady needs to get everyone on the same page everyday if she’s trying to up hold “rules” that have not been followed any past visits. (Side note: that many waiter and even the valet mention her lack of competence before our fast departure and apologized on behalf of her behavior) The chef/“owner” should get his act together and stop staring aggressively like he wants to say something and speak up.

We had our anniversary dinner here. The filet and lobster was absolutely incredible. My wife got the strip steak and she loved it. The cocktails were great, service was great and desert was great. Definitely worth $200!!

Ultimately, the service made the difference. . There were some dietary issues to be dealt with, and the waitress and chef were Very flexible in "bending the menu" to accommodate us. . I expect that we'll be back again!

Ordered the bone in Ribeye, again, and shared with partner, prepared medium it was absolutely fantastic with a side of spinach and a bottle of J Vineyards Chardonnay. One cannot go wrong nor find better in the city. Service with Alex is always great, as well as management by Mike and Bill, a great group. One must stop here for the experience and stay for the steaks…..
