   Went with family for my birthday. Great table, decorated for birthday. Food is always perfect- steaks, salads, sides all prepared to perfection. Birthday dessert delicious. We frequent capital grille Rockefeller center as often as we can and will continue to do so!

   If you're looking for a place to have a business meal, this Capital Grille location is solid, but not outstanding. For instance, the Cobb Salad with Sirloin arrived sloppily plated, as though the cubed sirloin and lettuce leaves were strangers who didn't want to get to know each other. I mean, none of the ingredients in the salad had any cohesiveness, it really looked like one person dumped the lettuce onto the plate, and another person dumped the cubed steak onto it. Also, the plate itself had not had a final rim-wipe before service, so its rim arrived stained with dried steak juices. Also, I'm not sure what the point of the Chef's table is with a view of the open kitchen, when basically, you're just looking at the servers ringing up their bills from behind a counter for most of the meal, while the energy in the kitchen behind them is a bit slumberous. Okay, all that said, the food itself is very tasty and my dining companions all enjoyed their selections. All dishes cooked to order were a perfect temperature, and the service was serviceable. Also appreciated that the noise level is wonderfully low, almost hushed, so it's a great place for conversation. Just a bit more attention to detail would make this location outstanding.

   Our server Heron Gutierrez was excellent. My mother and I came down for a nice dinner. The lobster bisque was exquisite, and our entrées which were a sliced filet and beef tenderloin with twin lobster tails was to die for. Heron made the experience that much better. Thanks for everything, and never disappointed with the Capital Grille.

   I had a lovely experience. The waitress with magnificent, respectful and kind. The food is delicious. The side dishes was perfect for the right price. And I will recommend all my friends to come here on their anniversary day or whatever special day they have because it was beautiful.

   Excelente atención de parte de los colaboradores del restaurante. Los cortes de carne tenían el término perfecto.

    Lived up to every expectation. That is the reason we return every year to celebrate a birthday although neither one of us lives in Manhattan any more and are never disappointed. Beautiful surroundings. Service is excellent. Food is delicious. We can hear each other talk and appreciate the chance to catch up with a work friendship that began about 50 years ago.
