   The food was excellent and our server Scott Kiskurno was fantastic! He made the night special for my mom (this was an early Mother's Day dinner). If you get Scott as a server you will have excellent and friendly service.

   We sat in the bar area which was nice, but it did get super loud and since the bar was so busy, it made the hustle and bustle even louder. I was disappointed that my scallops and lobster with asparagus risotto only had 2 teeny tiny pieces of lobster that I almost missed. For $64, I expected more lobster. The staff was super attentive and made us feel welcome.

   We love our waiter Mike. We got him the first time we came in and now request him every time we come to the Newtown location. He always makes the evening memorable and fun with his exceptional service, menu suggestions and upbeat personality.

   Not new to Capital grill, but first time in Newtown. Dining room was full and food was excellent. Well prepared and on point. Shout out to the kitchen staff who clearly are doing it well.

   Our family had a wonderful time thanks to Savannah and Brenda. They did a wonderful job managing our allergies and expectations. The location is beautiful and the small details made our dining experience memorable. Well done! We can’t wait to return.

    I’m used to going to the Capital Grille in Philadelphia, but the Newtown location did not disappoint. The decor is very nice and it’s really good to have a restaurant of this quality in the area, since I come back often to visit family and there aren’t many good options for a nice meal in the suburbs. Our waiter, Danny, was attentive and very helpful with the menu items and took great care of us. I was there for my birthday and on the table there were little “Happy birthday” and balloon confetti, as well as a handwritten birthday card, which I was not expecting and was a very nice touch. I was driving, so I didn’t have anything to drink, but I’m told the Stoli Doli was a lovely martini-like cocktail. The Diet Coke was fresh though. Food was predictably excellent, with the minor quibble that the shrimp cocktail was very tough, to the point that it was unpleasant to eat. But Danny took care of us right away, replaced it with the crab appetizer, and took both dishes off the bill. You’d expect that from a restaurant of this caliber and they delivered. Steaks were perfectly cooked—I had the bone-in ribeye cooked mid-rare and my mother had the special Snake River Farms wagyu sirloin cooked at the chef-recommended medium. Both steaks were very flavorful and cooked to spec, I couldn’t have been happier with my entree. Mushrooms were a little oily and maybe needed a dash of salt, but the creamed spinach was the surprise highlight of the night. Perhaps only outshined but the complementary birthday dessert they gave me with their brûlée cheesecake and flourless espresso chocolate cake—I’m not a chocolate cake guy, but the cake was excellent I would actually order that again. The espresso’s bitterness just cut the sweetness of the chocolate in a perfectly balanced dessert and the cheesecake was one of the best I’ve had. Light, delicate, and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be making return visits.
