Food was great as usual with a varied selection to choose. The waiter could have been more forthcoming and accommodating in that after choosing our appetizers and then main courses, he could have told us that soup & salad came with the main course instead of paying separately for both---meaning our ordered appetizers were brought to the table then he tried to bring another salad then a soup with no explanation. Something was wrong!!!!

We had a 7:00 reservation. We finally got seated at 7:30 after being told they were running 5 minutes behind schedule. Once seated, server was great, food was fine, but it was still very slow. Maybe just a bad night, but not what you would expect.

Once again, I consider Capital Grille in Fairfax to be one of the best restaurants in the Washington DC area. Last night, we enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu, which is the best bargain in town. The Management is top notch, the food was impeccable and the service is the best in town.

We truly enjoyed the restaurant week menu. The salad, filet, and sides were outstanding. We didn't find the cheesecake as good - it was on the dense side but the brulee topping was good. I also enjoyed the Generous Pour, although it can be a bit disconcerting to have 7 wine glasses on your table at once - glad I was the only one having it.

Another Awesome Generous Pour dinner date! Our waiter Mussie was wonderful as normal and we felt special from the moment we sat down. Chef came out later in evening- nice touch. Going again tomorrow!

Amazing. All of it, the maitre’ D , and the wait staff were particularly professional. The food was great! The restaurant was fancier than we anticipated so we were a little underdressed, but they made us feel right at home and we really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely die in here again, especially for a special occasion.

Absolutely terrific meal and service. Love the Generous Pour concept. Steaks were wonderful, scallops perfectly cooked and cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake were delicious. Mussie is a FANTASTIC waiter! From his recommendations to his approach to his personality, he is everything anyone would want from a a waiter in a high-end restaurant.

We celebrated our Anniversary here last year and this year. It was a wonderfully perfect experience. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked. We had the lobster bisque, which was out of this world. My husband had the lobster tails and I had the lamb chops, just amazing and the portions are plentiful. We had complimentary Champaign and dessert for our special day. We left there very satisfied with our experience. We will most definitely be back next year to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. And not to mention, our server was very attentive and polite.

Mussie Abate was beyond excellent. His service was second to none. Our choices of tar tar, and calamari were excellent! Stags Leap Route Stock (2 bottles) was fitting with the seafood, beef and chicken choices. This is our Capital Grille. Thank you Michael
