Lovely meal of veg kebabs, burger and Thai curry all well presented. Our waitress said the curry had a kick, she didn't elaborate on how big a kick! It was hotter than a vindaloo. Staff were happy to bring yoghurt when asked but we ended up with raita instead. Desserts were New York cheesecake , sticky toffee pudding and lemon meringue pie, all beautifully presented and scooped down.

Had a lovley dinner here on 14th feb also back for my daughters birthday 15th feb made a lovley vegetarian roast for two of my daughters on request ...staff all very polite and helpful excellent service would recommend here...only thing i would recommend is kids menu needs more variety veg added etc and a dessert menu for kids seperate...and the steak is to die for cooked to perfection

A warm, friendly welcome and super fast service. Perhaps a bit fast. We got our pre-dinner drinks and only a few minutes later our bottle of wine. Our starter and our main course soon followed. That was just the first half hour! I would have liked a bit more time to enjoy my prosecco! Thankfully our wish to have a break before ordering our dessert was granted and again before ordering our coffees. The food was very nice: the prawn tempura was lovely, my pork belly was well cooked and the small pan of baked beans was a nice touch. Stephen's sea bass was apparently really nice. I understand that the deconstructed lemon cheesecake was excellent! Perhaps spice up the white wine list.? The Chilean Sauvignon blanc was a bit dull. On the whole a nice place, worth giving a try.

Great starters, very average mains and bought in very poor desserts. Being seated next to gents lavatory wasn't a great start given other empty tables around.

Booked following search on Google. Staff were very very friendly and attentive. Food good. Atmosphere was not ideal, maybe better at night time with candles. Very tourist roadside stop off feeling about it. Tables in rows etc. Website good but photo creates a different style to reality. Could be really good as staff fantastic but def need to create a better armosphere.

Another excellent visit to the Canalside with friends. Staff, as always, were very good, as was the quality of the food. Haddock main was especially good, although a mix of salad and peas, rather than a choice between the two would just finish the dish.
