Burgers
Our one-of-a-kind Canadian themed sports bar & grill has an extensive menu of appetizers, entrees, drinks and amazing specials every night of the week. You’ll note our Canadian decor starts right when you walk up to our huge Inukshuk at our doors and continues throughout the restaurant in a “cheeky” Canadian fashion. We promise, when you come to The Canadian Brewhouse, you’ll instantly feel at home, because our house is your house…only we have way more TVs! You won’t find a better selection of screens anywhere for the sports you love! We even provide tabletop speakers for those nights when multiple sports and teams are playing.

We had the Donair poutine and the fried french toast. Both were excellent in the flavor department though the poutine was a bit cool by the time it reached the table.
My only truely negative comment is that the specialty drink I had came at a price which was twice what it should have been. It would have been decent value at $10 to $12 but $20 was outright theft

The food was very basic. The Canadian burger was a frozen puck style burger with a very small handful of fries that weren't fully cooked. The gravy was lumpy and very little taste.

Another guest with me ordered the Brisket shepherds pie. It was a bowl full of watery mashed potatoes (instant?) and tasteless gravy.

Our server forgot basic things, like salt, ketchup etc.
We waited 10 minutes for extra napkins and other condiments while our server stood at the bar chatting.

To Exit the restaurant we had to leave through the patio. Which I understand because of Covid. But we exited right onto an extremely busy street and had to walk along this roadway to the parking lot.

Overall I would not return and I won't order takeout/pickup from The brew house either.

The service & the food were great but if you want to maintain a normal conversation it will be hard as it is a very noisy atmosphere.

Fun place. Food was very good. Orders all arrived at the same time and hot. Well done considering we were a larger group

Restaurant was new to OpenTable.
When we used the push button for service, we had to get the server to come by and help us.
My ribeye steak was difficult to cut and chew which shouldn’t happen to a medium cooked steak.
The bacon on my girlfriends bacon cheeseburger was partly raw.
The pierogies the other party ordered good night to the leaking and we’re not offered anything to compensate for it.

Redneck city, bumpkinville! If you are among the young energetic crowd who likes to have their beer and food while watching a couple of UFC fighter beat each other to a bloody pulp, then this is the place for you. No refined taste or opportunity for a conversation within these four walls.

Very poor experience, made a reservation for 8 but they obviously forgot to reserve a table so they stuck us in a super tight table in the corner which made proper service difficult. Not impressed.

Hi there, I am the General Manager of the Winnipeg location. I just wanted to reach out to apologize for this experience. Our Open Table site went live for the first time on January 8th, and it came to our attention on January 9th that our tablet needed a software update before the system would work properly. I take full responsibility for this oversight. I would love to make this up to you if possible. Please e-mail me at peter.kelly@thecanadianbrewhouse so that I can offer a resolution.
