This was my first visit to The Café, and I was immediately impressed by the beautiful, open dining space, the friendliness of the staff, their eagerness to meet our needs, and of course, the flavor of the food! I enjoyed the Louis IVX sandwich and the coleslaw, both of which were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back.

We’ve eaten at The Cafe for nearly 15 years. It is definitely not what it used to be. Though much of the menu remains the same, the quality is not as good. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge us and bring water. We waited another 10 minutes to order. The omelet was just “OK.” My friend’s salad had wilted lettuce. Seems The Cafe is trying to be everything to everyone and it is suffering.

we love the Cafe. The food is excellent, great options from the basics to the more exciting. They have renovated the main dining area and it has definitely enhanced the ambiance. Service is always great!

Took us over an hour to get a drink (45 minutes just to get water). Promised bread never appeared — our appetizers were forgotten completely, our server told us she had the kitchen move our food under the heat lamps to re-fire one of them they had made wrong. That’s when we said we hadn’t gotten our apps. They showed up, incorrect, a minute before our entrees. We ordered second drinks before the food came and it didn’t show up until we were done eating and ready to pay. Just a complete mess. We were here for our anniversary and wish we had made another choice.

Much larger venue than expected. We dines for breakfast during the week so small crowd. Well designed space on a cool up and coming street. Food was excellent, but the server was just ok. Didn’t seem to be that interested in being there. Would definitely recommend trying for any meal, but breakfast especially. If you like French toast, you’ll love their take on it.

Our server was awesome! But our omelets were cold. To be fair, we were a party of 6, but they should’ve been able to keep the omelets warm while the other food was prepared.

The new renovations are wonderful! What a perfect spot for brunch. Everything was terrific. Highly recommend the tomato basil soup, King Charles I and of course the Queen Anne sandwiches.
