Chicken skewers on popcorn !!! Not a good start. The lamb was very tasty but very small portions.

The cod loin was an excellent dish. No idea why anyone would order a burger when that's on the menu, but they did! A superb mushroom sauce on celeriac with the cod. It was very impressive. Well presented and tasty. Recommended. Mostly young staff who were very friendly and efficient. This place has a lot going for it and we will be returning.

First time dining here and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the food,they paid close attention to my allergies and the ambience was great!

Lamb tagine tasted great but a little dry. Quite difficult to digest. Partners coq au vin was delicious. A bit cold in the room but service made up for it.

Came to eat out alone and the staff made me feel very welcome with their friendly and attentive service which made the experience even more enjoyable for me. The food was without a doubt the best pub food I had ever eaten. It’s a clean pub with cosy atmosphere, not overcrowded with tables and great amounts of outdoor seating too which will be lovely in warmer months. Excited to return and already recommended to friends

The service was very good, great food and wine. Lamb was amazing, so too the scallops and lovely selection of local cheeses to choose from . We will be back .

Lovely staff, beautiful food, spotlessly clean. Even a straight forward Sunday roast is just that bit special. Would highly recommend.
