   It was shut and had been for a while. Your system is out of date. We had a difficult time finding somewhere else at short notice . Not very impressive on your part.

   The food was nice though not remarkable. Service was a little slow and detached. I can’t give a 4 all round as we were sat in a bay window which was very cold.

   Food was good, not outstanding, but have to say the service left a lot to be desired. Feel the price doesn’t warrant the experience. Shame as was looking forward to going, but unfortunately won’t be rushing back.

   The Butcher’s wasn’t even open when we got there. Total darkness. I rang no answer. Left a message. No one rang back. Someone else had a booking half an hour after us too. We all went somewhere else to dine.

   Our dinner at The Butchers was lovely, they had unfortunately run out of a couple of items we had ordered but that was not a problem because what we had instead was delicious and cooked very well. The service was excellent and they made you feel very welcome. With regard to noise I think we probably made most of the noise out of everyone but it was gorgeous - thank you.

    An excellent meal - we chose the quieter location of the restaurant - but had a drink after in the bar, so got a good balanced feel for both and you could eat in either
