The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, cafe, juice bar and “vegetable slaughterhouse." We treat fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat: We chop, fillet and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices.

Our daily-changing menu is 100% vegetarian, with many vegan and gluten-free options. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, and we are currently open for indoor and outdoor dining, along with take-out and delivery.

Food was delicious (as always), but the service was less than great. There was a very large party (10-15 people) seated inside, and they seemed to be consuming most of the wait staff. Didn't feel Covid appropriate, especially since it forced most patrons to sit outside in the brisk weather.

Everything we had -- the veggie burger (NOT an impossible burger), the pad thai, the burrata salad, and the mimosa flights -- was totally delicious. We were seated outside, mindful of the pandemic, so street noise is what it is, but there was nice music and we were out of the path of sidewalk traffic, under an awning. They were short-staffed, but we still didn't have to wait too terribly long. But did I mention the food was delicious??? We'll be back.
