   Didn't know about this place - was recommended by a friend. Really nice inside, authentic "pub" bar area and attractive restaurant area. Food overall very good, but limited selection at lunchtime which was a bit restrictive. Friendly staff, good ambiance even at lunchtime. Our table was underneath a speaker & at times we found the music slightly too loud. But, it is only that and the limited menu that stopped me giving 5 stars across the board. The evening menu on the website looks more extensive. Definitely a nice, good value location for lunch.

   Great place, great food. On the night service was a bit slow, but it was busy at the time. That said, they discounted our starter from the bill as an apology without even telling us, which I thought was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

   Food was delicious and the staff were the perfect balance between attentive and respectful. Great suggestions on food choice and very cheerful. Would go back definitely.

   On arrival we were warned of a kitchen incident and very quickly advised of what was not available. Which I thought was brilliant, rather than wait to order to be told items were not available. I was exceptionally happy with the Sunday roast options, and the food ordered was excellent (if a little too much). My friend did not want the roast options and went for the burger, and was impressed, but again size was rather large. So value for money is excellent, service excellent and if you have a big appetite, the food portions are excellent, for those of us with slightly smaller appetites, it was a little much. All in all - great and we will be back.

   Yes very much so. Really like the ambiance, the layout, knowledge of staff. I asked for my steak medium rare but it was a little too rare for me. It was cooked some more and re-plated with fresh accompaniments very quickly. The only area I think could be improved is the ladies toilets, broken/loose toilet seats, broken/loose taps and not terribly clean. But that wouldn't stop me recommending it nor coming back regularly.

   Very happy. Husband enjoyed his large rib eye. I had ribs were good. Friendly waiter/waitress No salt on our table Speaker turned around away from us ,as ‘ music’ made it difficult to hear specials from waiter and conversation around table.

May I reccomend table 6 (if 2-4 are dining), table 2 (if 4-6 are dining) or table 11 (if 6-8 are dining) next time you join us, as these tables sit slightly further away from the speakers situated in in each corner of the restaurant - Simply ask one of our waitresses/waiters when booking!     Lovely atmosphere and a really nice restaurant setting. The food is exceptional and the service with very friendly staff makes for a great night out. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a good evening.
