The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker
Nice brunch place to visit on Sundays. Food was awesome, coffee, mimosa flight are MUST! Will come back!
Made a reservation and asked to be waited for more than 20 minutes, the walk ins been seated first which is totally unfair, the restaurant has at least 7-8 free tables at that time, very bad service
We had an 11:30am reservation for outside.
We arrived then waited 20minutes to be seated inside.
The music was so loud we literally couldn’t hear the waiter or each other. We asked if they could turn it down and they did but the volume was still excessive and truly ruined the experience.
The cocktails, lattes and food were all wonderful. Service was slow but server was very nice.
We’ve been a few times and really won’t go back again solely because of the volume.
I don’t mind spending $200 for a late breakfast for 4 people, but expect better ambient volume at any time of day.
Definitely the best breakfast place I’ve ever been to. The service was amazing from the moment my party and I entered to the moment we left. We sat outside and it absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere here is outstanding!! Everything is so pretty. Definitely a lot of photo ops. I ordered the Eggs Benedict which was to die for. And you can’t come here without ordering the Colorburst Latte. My party was quite large and we practically drove our waiter insane but he was completely patient and so nice. Overall my experience here was amazing 10/10
Wonderful experience all round . Delicious food and excellent service
Delicious food, friendly servers. Thanks!
Nobody greeted our table, so after 20 minutes of waiting we left and found another restaurant in the plaza.
Love love love the eggs Benedict and the sugar free cappuccino with almond milk!! My faves!
This is a very busy restaurant. Making a reservation and be there on time doesn't guarantee you will be seated right away. Check it podium was a mess; people were standing and waiting to check- in but the staff was just take their time chatting with colleagues. Will not recommend this place if you want to have quality time with your party.
The hosting staff here is not great. I stood in front of two hostesses for 5 min while they ignored me and looked at their phones. Someone finally came and asked me if I had been helped, said they’d seat me, but then walked away. Finally one of the girls on their phone clarified what table my party was supposed to be at and seated us. We made a reservation too, so this experience was just odd. Our waitress was nice though! And service was quick despite our party being larger and the time being brunch rush. I’d go somewhere with better service next time, but this was convenient to my other plans that day so it was fine overall.
Server was nice, the service was a bit slow and menu was a bit pricey.
This used to be our favorite restaurant for brunch. Loved the decor and ambience and especially the ricotta pancakes. We were crushed to hear the ricotta pancakes were taken off the menu. While we
love the eggs benedict there's now nothing else on the menu that's interesting. My friend's sushi burrito had way too much mayonnaise. We're sorry but we now won't be coming back!
The Colorburst Latte is incredible, so unique and beautiful. I've never seen it anywhere else. The maple bacon scones were pretty good, a little on the dry side, but I still enjoyed them. My breakfast sandwich was huge and I took half home, which I appreciated. I always love leftovers. The mimosa flight was pretty unimpressive. You might as well just get a mimosa. I'd rather get bottomless mimosas. The bacon was undercooked and not crispy at all. But overall the food is good and I'd go there again for brunch or try it for a heavy dinner as the dinner menu looked delicious. The tables are packed so close together if we moved our arms to gesture we'd hit a server walking by within an inch of our table. It's a tiny space. Don't go if you want privacy, quiet, or to not be extremely close to your neighbors and the servers.
Even with a reservation we waiting 40 minutes outside int eh heat to be seated.
The manager came up and instead of apologizing that we were waiting gave us an excuse of the tables aren't free and people aren't leaving though they paid. No water was offered or even an umbrella to shade from the sun. It was just ruse and a waste of a sunday afternoon.
I recommend this place as a pick up only.
Loved our server. Coffee was great and the food was good! The place is adorable. Reservations recommended.
The food exceeded my expectations and so did that beautiful, colorful latte. It wasn't too sweet and I enjoyed everything about this place.
I believe the worst service in my recent trip to LA. She was in hurry to take the orders and never had any smile since we sit. And the worst when we order pancakes with all toping on the side but still she had the peach sauce on top. We asked her get proper order.what she did was to remove the sauce and flip the pancakes so that we don't notice.
A+ coffee (even the colorful gimicky ones) love the ambiance. Perfect Go to for coffee dates.
The menu pricing that is shown on open table is not accurate. New York $36, actual price $49; halibut $25, actual price $32; burger $15, actual price $20. The fraud only continues from there with their claim of hand made pasta. What a joke!!! The octopus starter was very good. Everything else, including the service was mediocre at best.
WAY overpriced for the food and service. You have to wait 30-60 minutes even WITH a reservation. Food is meh. Won’t return
Make reservations!!! Parking was the only issue. But that’s just the area in general.
Brought my daughter here for breakfast and their colorburst latte. It was a HUGE hit. She loved it!
We had an absolutely lovely evening with friends, celebrating my wife's birthday. The food and drink were excellent, the staff were attentive folks with whom it was enjoyable to interact.
Everybody enjoyed their meals, whether brunch or dinner fare. The octopus was particularly delightful, as was the passionfruit cocktail. My steak was the least outstanding of the lot - I wish I had selected a brunch option - but I still had a great time overall.
Went to brunch for a birthday and made a reservation, knowing they'd be busy on a weekend. We weren't seated until 25 minutes after our rez time. BUT, the food was amazing (get the peach bourbon pancakes), and our server was awesome. Decor is so cute, but if you want to actually hear your tablemates, get seated outside. Overall a solid four stars.
The waiter had way too many tables and didn’t come back to check on us. We had to flag him down for our check because we parked at a meter and our time was up. Very frustrating.
We may have caught the restaurant on an off morning as the credit card machine was down - but while our waiter was a pleasure, the service was very slow. We received our breakfast sandwiches about 45 min after ordering and they were cold. They were quick to remake them for us and it ended up being pretty good. The coffee was fine but my friend got an iced matcha latte and for $7 it was pretty small. Really cute ambiance, loved that they take reservations. If you want a cute brunch picture, you should go here.
It was so hot outdoors and food was not worth the money.
The place is beautiful, parking convenient, service outstanding!. The only problem is that the tables are too close to each other, so there were several conversations going on I preferred not to hear. Otherwise, I was very happy. I will definitely come back and refer friends. My latte was amazing, thank you. I don't know how you do those beautiful designs. I couldn't help posting it on IG :)
Fun scene but very loud. Beautiful young, hip people everywhere. Fun people watching. Near cool shops in Sunset Plaza, WeHo’s iconic neighborhood.
Great spot for breakfast meeting - especially when the weather is nice. Good is healthy and delicious!
Great experience! Tasty food and nice server Jordan. Had to come back the next day to try a latte made by a very skilled barista!
This place is definitely a scene. Even with a reservation I still waited 30minutes for a table. The breakfast was good, I had the mushroom omelette. I could have passed on the brussel sprouts appetizer as it didn't have much flavor. The flight of champagne is cute and overall for the vibe of this place I would come back and eat again.
Everyone but chef needs to be fired at this place! They waited us down for over 30 min while they 6+ open table food was bright out 40 min after we ordered and they still managed to bring out wrong thing for my gf! Waiters attitude towards the mistake was awful! There was broken glass by the table which was left there even after I brought it up to them! I have been to BBCM a lot and I’m upset my self for keep going back their food is great but service attitude and management is awful! They can or don’t want turn tables on time maybe to create wait or hype or maybe just missed managed. Today was last draw and ice on the cake was being blocked by them after I posted empty table tables with 30 min wait time on reservation. What way to respond to criticism
Good overall experience. Server was very friendly and restaurant was very accomodati ng with menu for our two children.
I’m going back! That’s all I hav to say!
Purrfect place to hang out with friends.
Prices are not bad at all
Service not excellent. Food is good but not special. I asked to have no garlic but I received hamburger with garlic spread.
Nice, good food, good service, great espresso and Cappuccino.
I originally order the pork belly carbonara pasta but I sent it back because it was cold & pretty bland in flavor. I eventually ate half of my friend’s chicken sandwich, which was okay & ordered the seared salmon salad. The salmon was a decent size but the amount salad greens were lacking. The manager and server were nice.
Great service and menu. Noisy atmosphere but expected on sunset.
