The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker
Highly recommend!! So worth the trip!!!
Horrible service. We were there for 2 hours! Everything took wayyyyy too long to come out. We started ordering the next round of beverages when he would bring the first ones. My dad ordered the butcher Bloody Mary and the waiter said that the slicer was broken so they wouldn’t be able to put the sandwich on top... which is weird because you can just cut it with a knife! 🤣 THEN they ran out of Prosecco! How you run out of Prosecco on a Wednesday afternoon is crazy. It wasn’t that busy. In addition to our meal we ordered 2 sides of bacon which never came AND we were celebrating 2 birthdays... that day! On the 20th! We told him and he offered nothing. We really wanted to try the colorburst lattes at the end but at that point we just wanted to leave.
Great service, food and ambience. Might feel a bit too loud and crowded on a packed dat but considering they have two indoor areas and the patio in between on a prime spot on the strip, that's bound to be the case. The eggs benedict is a fantastic option!!
Very nice and cute place... coffee was amazing!!
They only dropped the ball when they mentioned they would do something special for my daughter who we were celebrating her turning 21 and did not follow through. :( But the service and the demeanor, once you are seated is exceptional, as is the food.
This was a busy time 1:45 Sunday Brunch. Im certain in the light of being busy this was overlooked but when I requested honey, the server came back with my tea said “we don’t have honey” without bringing/offering an alternative. Otherwise the server was top-notch, food super yummy + we were cozy inside + got to see the food of most every one around us! A+
I love this place for breakfast/brunch. Always a must when in West Hollywood. Can’t wait to come back. Tip: make sure you make a reservation or you’ll be waiting around for quite a while, as they are always busy! We had a reservation for 10:30 am and were seated promptly upon arrival.
The eggs in our dishes were cooked beautifully. Wish we were able to sit at one of the cool yellow booths.
Great place and funny service.
Amazing food on Sunset! The colorful cappuccinos are so neat! Eggs Benedict AMAZING! Fried chicken sandwhich AMAZING! Mushroom omelets AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back and try other stuff!
I love this spot and especially the food. I have been here a few times before. On this particular instance we arrived for our reservation (which was at 1pm) and were not seated until after 1:45pm. Multiple groups with reservations after ours were seated before us. Walk ups were seated before us. We had to ask three separate times to finally be seated. Once at our table, there was no room for 3 so we took a table for 2 and added a third seat. This is simply because we were starving and couldn't wait any longer. The food and service was good but the wait ruined the experience. It did not help that it was pouring rain on this day and we had to wait outside under an umbrella the entire time. Our reservation was specifically made inside so the rain should not have caused an issue for our table. Had we been a walk up I would understand but we were not accommodated well given our expectations.
Whenever I would zip past The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappucino Maker, I would always see a mob of brunchees. When I finally had the opportunity to dine there with a friend, there was a bit of a wait on a Saturday afternoon to be seated though I had made reservations. Upon being seated, it took several hand gestures to flag down a waiter, presumably because of the brunch rush. The food and mimosas were delicious and the decor was bright to match the sunny disposition of most of the customers beside us. Beyond the slightly tedious service, I would most likely come back.
It was crazy delicious and the service was excellent! I’m already making plans to go back!
Came here for brunch. Friend ordered the seafood omelet and loved it. I decided to try something new and ordered the egg sandwich. It was good minus the egg. I don't know how they prepare it, but it was like a rubber block of tepid egg product. Not my favorite item and wouldn't recommend. The potatoes were delicious and the coffee was strong. Cute place to bring a date or a group of friends. Will be back. Cute West Hollywood hot spot.
Really nice place. Good food. Coffee shop feel.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite places!
Had a tasty brunch with some girlfriends! will be returning in the future!
When the power goes out 3 hours before your client lunch meeting and they claim to have no way of getting access to their bookings to phone customers, yet you work in tech and know this is practically impossible I think you can call BS.
Nowadays there is enough power in phones to access this and unless they are using an outdated reservation system this information should never be stored only locally.
I traveled an hour in the rain to get here, it’s a really poor excuse to not even warn your customers.
Shame because this is one of my favorite places to eat.
Service is so terrible here. Everything takes forever to come out. Been here a couple times and it’s just snooty and disorganized and the food isn’t good enough to save it.
tell us the chef was busy！
Too loud. Food was good, but service slow. Making a reservation was kind of a joke, ended up waiting just as long as walk ins.
I was a little disappointed in being seated 30 minutes later than my original reservation time; however, the food and experience was worth the wait. It seems the weekend brunch hours are a popular time for them.
Excellent, interesting food in pleasant atmosphere
Great food. Excellent service. My wife and I stop there for Sunday brunch every time we are in LA. Ask for Demitry. He makes it a fun experience. Would definitely recommend it.
It was super fun because of the variety of people who like to eat at your place. I don't live in LA but love to people watch and the crowd was beautiful and eclectic and the food was great as usual. The waiter kept apologizing for the wait time for food, but we were just happy to be having a nice day and not feeling rushed. It was super fun!
Can't beat the location. Breakfast with Banana Foster French toast and cappuccino hit the spot for our group. Service was also great!
The service was awful and the food was cold. How is this place in business?
I came from Australia to check out this cafe as I was recommended it.
Overall great place, and the food is delicious and healthy!!
Poor service, for an empty restaurant Charity checked on us once, and that was after our drinks took 45 mins to come out. Additionally, I order a simple salmon salad and that took 1 hour. Just bad, the restaurant was empty, less than 10 guests.. You lost me. Also, not comping our drinks or bringing a pastry on the house when we were clearly upset about the bad service, I guess if you want to Instagram a cappuccino this is your place.
I ordered Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict with potatoes and the waiter failed to get me potatoes. I couldn’t even tell them they messed up because no one checked up on us. They came when the food came out and I noticed as I was taking pictures of my food. They didn’t come check up on us again until they gave us the check.
We waited over 15 minutes for our table when we had a reservation. We went in for DineLA but were told upon getting our menus they weren’t doing DineLA on weekends, it was a MLK Monday. Then we’re told they weren’t doing dineLA on holidays. Later out server told us management decided not to do DineLA the morning of. We ordered their $8 fancy butterfly lattes that took so long to come we almost canceled. We ran into other friends waiting for a table after we had been seated, they were also there for DineLA and were unpleasantly surprised.
Obviously, not worth going to for DineLA.
Food was good but we went on MLK day for lunch and this is the second time that they participate in DineLA but don't "honor" it because it's a holiday. So dumb! They do it when it's convenient and are not consistent. The food was good (nothing to rave about) but our waitress was amazing! So she made the experience better.
What a great neighborhood restaurant! Definitely coming back again
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. I had a specialty coffee add the short rib sandwich. Everything tasted good. I will return.
Hella good! Great service, the entire staff was awesome. Initially made a reservation for 4pax, called to adjust to 6pax 30 minutes before and we were accommodated. They sat us down on time and apologized for the wait (we arrived 20-minutes early LOL). Our waiter Rei was GREAT! He was funny, good with recommendations, quick, and did I say funny? I did not care for my Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, it was not exciting. So I got it exchanged for the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict (which Rei highly recommended to me in the first place), the new order arrived stat. The seasoning on the chicken (which was not your typical friend chicken seasoning. It was delicious) heightened the hollandaise sauce so it was a great balance of flavors. Breakfast potatoes came on the side, they were tasty. I’m a breakfast potato snob; these had cherry tomatoes and whole garlic cloves, a light chimichurri or cilantro dressing. I dug it. The French toast-yes. Saw a table with sweet potato fries so we ordered a side as well. I’m not a sweet potato lover, but these were actually lightly seasoned and lightly battered. My friends got the seafood baked eggs and ricotta pancakes, they loved it. Oh man, the rainbow latte. It’s super pretty, it does take about 10-15 minutes to arrive, but it was hot and gorgeous. I got mine spiked with Baily’s (“it’s America, you can get whatever you want” -Rei, our server).
The atmosphere was cute, the staff were all well put together with smiles and hip. It was super crowded, I highly recommend a reservation. We really enjoyed ourselves and I’ll definitely will be back! Thanks BBCM.
If I could give them zero star I would by far the worst dinning experience that I have had. Very rude server and very poor service I would never come back. I don’t recommend to anyone!!!
Food was very good. We had the bacon scones which were delicious. Also had the Benedict which was also delicious. Excellent biscuits.
Wine list is terrible! There is no reason why a restaurant serving this level of food would have such a terrible wine selection. Cupcake? Really? Ruffino? Please you can do way better. I would still recommend going for brunch but if you want to have a glass of wine or two skip this place
Always a long wait after reservation time and delays on service. Cash register wasn’t working so long delay at the end.
Only recommend if you have hours to waste.
Went for Dine LA restaurant week on a rainy Monday night and was 1 of 4 tables. Service was impeccable and the food was prepared perfectly.
