The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker
Loved the food and the place. I will absolutely come back.
If at all, what impacted our experience negatively was the person at the next table watching a movie on her iPad, no earphones, just blasting it loudly through the speakers.
Honestly, because the food and the service was so good, I put up with it. B
Walked here for a nice brunch and had a couple of fabulous lattes, one Tahitian vanilla and one Mexican mocha. Deeeelish. Then the croissant breakfast sandwich with salmon... large and very tasty. Potatoes were as good as other reviews have mentioned, really good. My server was very good about circling by to check on me and bring anything I needed. Cute place with a great vibe, will come again when I’m back in town.
A great experience when visiting yet it’s a local hangout. Highly recommend even if there’s a wait!
Jimmy the server is amazing, super friendly!
Seriously overhyped. Terrible, pricey food and drinks and not everyone receives the same treatment and service when eating here. Told us they were not doing their famous colorful coffee art coffees that day but then we saw 3 separate baristas making them throughout our entire time at the restaurant. Our food was so tasteless and disgusting that we couldn’t even finish it. I don’t get how there is so much hype about this place.
Too many people. Wait 15min after the reservation time. Food is super normal.
We went for a Thanksgiving lunch knowing that we wanted a more casual brunchy lunch feel. The kids loved it and the kids meal came with dessert. Our server was very attentive to my vegetarian parents and everything was delicious. I think it was a good value and great ambiance.
I was very disappointed with the service that we had! I was embarrassed to bring guests from oversees to experience this place!
Thus is a nice, happy spot to sit and have coffee or breakfast. Very popular so def need a resi. Eating outside is quite nice if you can do it.
Had a great brunch! Love the color burst latte and eggs Benedict.
Great food! Great service!
I felt the egg, bacon and cheese sandwich was too big to bite into, and it was slippery from the egg and cheese, which made me eat with fork and knife, which isn't so bad; otherwise I loved everything else, the location/design was pleasant, the server was amazing, and colored latte was quite a treat!
We had to wait about 45 minutes for a table, even though we had a reservation.
Beautiful outdoor seating space and yummy lattes and mimosas. Great brunch spot.
We sat outside in the sunshine- very busy street obviously- but lovely in the sun. Food was great, service great... my only gripe is with the cappuccino... was a bit ‘burnt’... maybe the type of beans or roast... just was not to my taste... otherwise 5star all around.
I have always enjoyed the brunch at this restaurant, and this was the first time I went for dinner. The service was great, and I had the roast chicken which couldn’t have been better. My dinner companion had the bratwurst and she loved it.
We were there quite early, wirh plenty of free tables available, but the table that we were given was uneven and pushed against the wall. As for food, it was slightly disappointing - the eggs benedict were drowned in aioli like sauce and the muffins were certainly from the previous day. The best thing was the coffee - colorfull and tasty. Overall I think that the place does not live up to all the hype.
So enjoyed the butcher, the baker, the cappuccino maker. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and was able to choose outdoor or indoor seating. The drinks are unbelievable. A flight of mimosas, a Bloody Mary with ham and cheese garnishes, Kentucky bourbon with cold brew coffee! Loved them.
The food was good too. The beet salad and avocado toast were great! Everyone loved the fish and chips but me. It was a little too fishy for me, but the sweet potatoe fries were out of this world. Desserts were ok. Pumpkin muffins, fruit tart, coffee eclair and the stand out was the Nutella coffee cake.
Service was so good. Our server was Lindsey and she was the best. Definitely would go again.
30 mins late on the Rez. The food wasn’t good today either.
Good food. Great location. Always busy. We visit this restaurant every time we are in LA. Usually great and friendly service. This time was different. The hostess was super rude. She didn’t smile once, while we said hello she just stared at us and giving us “looks” the whole time we were waiting. Even with a reservation we were seated almost 40 minutes later. Unfortunate.
Even with a reservation it took 1 hour to be seated. They were playing favorites when seating others. People with the same group size arriving after us were seated promptly because of favoritism or connections
Dimitris Kalpouzos is the best waiter there! Always a pleasure.
Took us 20 min to get seated even though we had a reservation.
we tried this place for the first time. the food was delicious and large portions and nice presentation .
Plates were all chipped and the food was very spicy hot , not what we expected
Food was excellent and service as well
A way too much noisy
Our go-to place in WeHo, this Sunset Plaza cafe is outstanding in every way!! The staff - soooo nice and on top of things (yet never pushy or make you feel rushed); the atmosphere - beautiful, chill, lovely; and the food - moan-worthy!!! Love, love the mushroom iron-skillet breakfast, but also love the ricotta pancakes, french toast, sushi "burrito"... Make a reservation (though you can often sneak in w/o).
Jordan was the best server we could have wanted! Food was PERFECT! Best place on the strip!!!
I would go there every day if I could ....
There was a long wait due to restaurant problem but they were very courteous and apologetic about it. Once seated for a while I had to go ask to be serviced as no one had come to our table.
Other than that our waiter was excellent and the food was delicious.
Hostesses were fairly rude and unorganized. We waited over an hour with a reservation - watched 8-10 groups be seated as walk-ins before us. There were many angry people with reservations and the manager had to apologize many times on behalf of the hostesses on 11/2 during the lunch hour.
Always love this food and vibe 10/10 - hostesses 0/10
Fabulous place for brunch! Try the Eggs Benedict, and the French Toast is famous. Super patio outside with a view of Sunset Blvd and cute booths inside. Very popular on Sundays!
Great service and delicious food!
Great food and staff but an absolute madhouse on the weekends. Make a reso, don't be in a rush, and enjoy.
It is a good place and the food is good with a nice ambiance.
Great food and customer service. Was a bit slow for drinks on the weekend but the atmosphere and good company passes the time by. They have a mimosa flight that's cute and lots of options for dining during brunch. I recommend the courtyard seating!
Fun place with good food but had to wait half an hour to just reach the hostess stand. They seem to be very disorganized and not able to accommodate guests with reservations.
The biscuits weren’t as good as when here last.
Asked umbrella to be raised.
We had a reservation for 2 pm and it took them over 30 minutes to seat us after I asked them 5 times. And after 30 minutes of waiting they seated us under the sun! Our server was great and the food was ok.
the food was amazing. the pictures that i saw on yelp don’t do the place any justice bc when you finally have the food in front of you, it’s like wooooowww. i’ll definitely be dining here when i come back to LA
