The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker
Fabulous! We loved the food, drinks, atmosphere, and our waiter!
Food was good but food prices seem to have spiked up from what I remember. Lighting/ambiance is too bright for these prices. I appreciate the reasonable wine prices though!
Celebrating a great day of auditions in LA
Service was great, food good, but either no air conditioning or ineffective air conditioning so don’t go on a hot day.
We went for my daughter's 21st birthday. The waiter was extremely rude to one of my other daughter when she said she was vegan and need to know options. Once she did order and asked no egg on her plate he put it on there. The bday girl asked if she was supposed to get a dessert for her bday and waiter said yeah I guess so, do you want it. Really! Service was terrible.
I had a sandwich and pancakes. Pancakes tasted normal. The sandwich was with burger bun and ingredient wasnt that impressive. Special art latte was really beautiful but the coffee itself wasnt that nice. So did the house blend coffee tasted like water. Overall I actually didnt expected that much about the food, the place was instagramable and the ambience was cool. The place matched well with my purpose.
Bar Service was just okah
Overall, I had a poor experience at BBCM. Our server left to go on break and didn’t coordinate with another server. She forgot to give the kitchen our food ticket and we waited for an hour for service and food, despite asking countless times. Having enjoyed the restaurant before, I expected better service.
The deep frier was down and so was the credit card machine when we went. Not an ideal experience and the server was pretty negative about it. The food was still very good.
Overall my experience was fair. The food came within 20 minutes but it also took 20 minutes to just get our coffees (Vietnamese coffee and latte). Our waiter never brought us an extra plate to share our food and took over 20 minutes to get our check — we had to eventually ask another waiter to get our check because our original waiter did not check on us once after we got our food.
We ordered the breakfast burrito and chia pudding which were both good. The burrito had sausage which was not cut up, making it difficult to eat.
I don’t think I’ll be rushing back to this place for any occasion.
Wished the fryer was working so we could have tried the potatoes. The breakfast burrito wasn’t that great. Our server, Oscar, wasn’t as friendly and was pretty slow at times. Last time I went it was a really fun and pleasant experience but it was different this time.
My friend and I went on a Saturday afternoon, and despite our reservation, we still had to wait. Our table was inside, and one of the seats was in the sun, which surprisingly made it extremely uncomfortable. It otherwise a cute cafe, but it gets quite loud. We had the brioche egg sandwich, the croissant egg sandwich, the biscuits with walnut butter, a cappuccino and a Tahitian vanilla colorburst latte. Everything was just ok. Portions were large, but it still seemed overpriced considering the quality and taste. The colorburst vanilla latte was...$9!! Sure, it was pretty, but it didn’t taste like anything special, and the artful decoration adds a lot of sweetness that I was not a fan of. And now my friend and I both feel sick :-\ We didn’t eat all of the food — it’s just very rich, I guess. (I hope!) Also worth noting that none of the staff seemed to be happy to be there, though it was admittedly pretty busy and chaotic. Overall, this place wasn’t at all worth the hype, and we won’t be returning.
The food was awesome. The staff is very friendly and nice.
Rainbow Late was Great
Unfortunately the Fish and Chips was greasy and it had a fishy smell that was not pleasant
The youg waitress was great, too.
Great vibe for dinner! We sat outside and it was very calm other than the occasional loud car on sunset. Food was amazing and server was very personable.
I was kept waiting for 40 min with a reservation because the hostess didn’t know how to seat a group of 3 people
We chose the Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino maker based on the recommendation of a friend. It did not disappoint. We had reservations for 3pm on a sunday and were seated right away. The service was friendly and attentive. The presentation was a delight to the eyes and the food....our compliments to the Chef! We will definitely go here again! I'm so glad we have pictures so I can relive the experience!
We had to wait 25 mins even with a reservation and the food was okay. Kind of overpriced for what it is.
The service was amazing, and the eggs Benedict are definitely recommended.
We've been several times. The service by the wait staff was its usual great standard. However, the host was poorly managed. We were a few minutes late for our reservation. Yet, we found ourselves waiting about fifteen minutes for a two-top seating three roasting in the sun.
Again, our waiter took action and was great. The host stand left much to be desired.
We made a reservation and arrived 10 mins early. The hostess took us to a table to be seated. We asked her if we could get a booth instead and she mentioned that they don’t seat just two people at the booth. We agreed to sit at a table and then noticed that she started walking in other guests (COUPLES) and was gladly accommodating the booth seating for them. Both my wife and I felt discriminated and my wife said that we should let the manager know. So we did just that. The Manager quickly apologized and said of course two people can sit on the booth and what the hostess did was not right. So she moved us to a booth. Also, while we were seated at the table prior to sitting at the booth, no one from the staff came to our table to get our order started. We basically drove two hours to try this place out and the experience left somewhat of a bitter taste in our mouth. Had big expectations but were disappointed
Took my friend who is visiting from Canada here and it was an exceptional experience. Great for small groups
Superb service, delicious fare and a majestic coffee. The art latte was beautiful , though the Mexican Latte was unforgettable. So glad we chose this place to celebrate a birthday- how memorable !!!! Thank you!!!
It was cute, but VERY loud. It is also small and cramped. Not easy or good for kids like Yelp says it is. I had a stroller and there was no room for it. It was a very hot day and they had us outside and my baby was overheating and very uncomfortable. They finally were accommodating and moved it us inside. I shouldn't have gone there with a baby. This is a place for a trendy twenty somethings.
Brunch all day menu is awesome. Tried the tartine with smoked trout which was delicious.
Our food and lattes were delicious and we were happy that our fur babies were able to join us for brunch!
Amazing place, great service, and really good food and of course colorburst lattes!
Excellent and super friendly service. The restaurant is very pretty with colorful lattes that taste great. The food was very good.
Nice brunch place to visit on Sundays. Food was awesome, coffee, mimosa flight are MUST! Will come back!
Love this place but make a reservation
We went here for a HOLLYWOOD brunch experience and had a nice time with our group. The food was nothing special but, the ambiance of dining along sunset blvd made up for it. It was a noisy and busy occasion. The staff were v. good about seating us and taking care of our orders and needs.
Nice trendy place with good food option .
Worth too go !
Great service, very mediocre food sadly. It was dinner -- maybe brunch is where it's at.
Made a reservation and asked to be waited for more than 20 minutes, the walk ins been seated first which is totally unfair, the restaurant has at least 7-8 free tables at that time, very bad service
We had an 11:30am reservation for outside.
We arrived then waited 20minutes to be seated inside.
The music was so loud we literally couldn’t hear the waiter or each other. We asked if they could turn it down and they did but the volume was still excessive and truly ruined the experience.
The cocktails, lattes and food were all wonderful. Service was slow but server was very nice.
We’ve been a few times and really won’t go back again solely because of the volume.
I don’t mind spending $200 for a late breakfast for 4 people, but expect better ambient volume at any time of day.
Definitely the best breakfast place I’ve ever been to. The service was amazing from the moment my party and I entered to the moment we left. We sat outside and it absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere here is outstanding!! Everything is so pretty. Definitely a lot of photo ops. I ordered the Eggs Benedict which was to die for. And you can’t come here without ordering the Colorburst Latte. My party was quite large and we practically drove our waiter insane but he was completely patient and so nice. Overall my experience here was amazing 10/10
Wonderful experience all round . Delicious food and excellent service
Delicious food, friendly servers. Thanks!
