The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker
Visiting LA and found this place through insta. Super cute place with great vibes and amazing food and drink!
The host was kind and the setting was fun, just didn’t feel welcomed and was unable to enjoy myself.
Great location and super fun. The service was a bit slow the last time I went, but maybe they are just too popular. Varied menu with something for everyone. The ahi poke was great and it’s so nice to have a table with a view of Sunset Blvd. Perfect pick for lunch.
Love this place. Cute and great food. A little loud if on the street side but lots of other seating options.
My experience was great the food and drinks were beyond amazing.
A family brunch. Great atmosphere w/indoor and outdoor seating. The waiters/waitresses are quick to help and fun. Sometimes orders take a bit to come because there’s so many people. RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST. Good parking. The food is great and I would 100% go back.
Overly pretentious, pricey LA place. Hard to find anything on menu that sounded appetizing. There pasta pomodoro was not the traditional Italian recipe - either cheese or cream made the sauce a light orange color. The suggestion to add turkey meatballs was great - except they were out (6p on a Sunday). Open door in 58 degree weather made it uncomfortable to eat either insider or outside. Close the door, people. "Impossible" burger was good - but the same as at far for joints for 20% of the price. Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend.
Our drinks took a bit long, but our server made up for it by being so wonderful! Can’t wait to make this one of my regular brunch spots!
everything was amazing. service was a little slow (it was busy) but the service itself was great. everyone is very friendly from host to servers. we sat outside so it was not as chaotic but walking through to the bathroom, I can see how it may have felt more chaotic/bustling in other areas of the restaurant. the food was amazing and I would definitely recommend/come back.
I loved the vibe! The color burst Latte and the banana french toast are to die for :D
There are some selections of the brunch menu at night as well which I loved!
Service was a bit inconsistent but overall a great meal
Love this spot. Good food. Beautiful patio
food very good and nice dinner menu, but lighting too bright inside after dark. service very good and loved ki lime pie. will be back to try brunch
Great place to have brunch! Love their art coffees and fried chicken eggs Benedict. Excellent service and just a great place to meet friends or bring someone who is in town sightseeing.
Service is lacking here, usually slow. Ambiance makes up for everything
Great food, great service and great coffee. Their coffee beans from all over the world ♥️.
The place was cute and friendly. The cappuccino was an experience. Food was ok. I made reservations on open table and checked in by my time. I dined there and enjoyed the experience. But hours later, the place cancelled my reservation and didn’t pick up my call. Thus my points were not given. So I contacted open table who honored the points.
Brunch at bbcm was amazing. Great recommendation for brunch. I will be back next time I am in LA. I recommend trying Bloody Mary and Champagne flight. Food was out of this world and great ambiance!
Loved it here! Sat down right away since we reserved. Great service and the most amazing latte art! Must try!
i thought it was lovely and service great thanks -big servings
We make a reservation and still had to wait 40 minutes to be seated.
We made a reservation and got seated right away. Our server was great. He noticed part of our group had the sun hitting their faces, so he quickly brought another umbrella to give us all shade. I thought this was very sweet and considerate! He was quick to take our drink order and then our food order. He was very attentive the whole time. Very pleased with my experience here. Would definitely come back!
Did not feel welcomed at all from the hostess. Asked to change the seat but no one even came back to tell us wether we can or can’t . Waiter brought the food and drinks never came back to check if we needed anything else. I asked for the bill and it took them 30 minutes. I was expecting alit more based on the reviews but sorry to say it was a big disappointment. Although the food was delicious but still I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a place where I don’t feel welcomed or properly waited on.
Excellent breakfast! Great neighborhood. Terrific service.
So lovely and delicious!
Good food, enjoyed the relaxed dining.
A stand-out experience from my recent week in LA. We went 4 times through our week-long visit. Highly recommend. Great food, coffee (big call from an Australian coffee snob), service and people watching. Go to BBCM!
Very cute space. Small and intimate enough for a date or friend time.
The food looks really good and taste great for the Benedict egg and seafood omelette. Also, the coffee has colorful design which looks amazing. Overall, the price is appropriate and food is good and I will definitely go their again if I hav a chance.
We had a reservation and we had to wait for 1.5 hrs. And after multiple reminders, they gave us a table right near the Main Street. The food itself took a long time to come.
THE SCENE: I always have a great time at The Butcher, the Baker, the coffee Maker. The servers, somehow, all are good looking, or at least clean up very well. They are knowledgeable of the menu and helpful with recommendations. Quite friendly and I love that you can stop any server and ask for assistance. It seems to be a team oriented place (I hope that is the truth behind the scene). I’ve only sat in the exterior area and have groups of 4 or 6. There’s never been a problem with getting good in a timely manner or returning food if unhappy with selection. I appreciate that the managers (or crew leaders?) walk around checking in on guest as well. The atmosphere is a moderate noise level. No need to shout to the person next to you, but definitely don’t feel like you have to whisper. Pleasant decor and comfortable table/seating options.
THE FOOD: Overall very good! My favorite is the fried chicken eggs Benedict. It has like a Moroccan (?) Seasoning flavor and comes on a well made buttermilk biscuit (I’m not a fan of the traditional English muffin). Also love the banana French toast and I am NOT a fan of French toast, but their is bomb! I’ve tasted a few of the baked egg dishes, they are tasty, but the fried chicken Benedict is just-POW!
COFFEE: I’m not a coffee drinker, but I do get a color latter because it’s fun...mainly because I order it spiked with whisky 😁 other folks I’ve gone with seem to like the other coffee drinks as well.
I say go! Make a reservation if you can, the place does get crowned. And those waiting flood into the street. There is a free parking lot in the back of the restaurant which you can access via Subset Plaza Drive. Be sure to tip your waiter!
We loved our brunch, delicious food, great service, great ambience!
Cute, quaint little restaurant. The decor is beautiful and food delicious. I’d definitely recommend it!
Amazing brunch and lattes that look and taste like works of art! Our server was so incredibly down-to-earth and friendly. Makes for great people watching too (ahem, including famous faces! :) )!
The best food ever!! Our family are in town on spring break, and everyone enjoyed their dinner immensely!
Went an hours earlier before my reservation, we know it’s Saturday we didn’t expect can be sit that early. but they let us waited almost an hour which is the exactly reservation time to be sit.
My new fav brunch spot! Fried Chicken eggs Benedict and Color burst latte (vanilla and caramel mixed) was sooooo delicious!
We were late & had 3 people instead of two but they accommodated us with a little wait. Overall good not excellent.
We had the breakfast and it was delicious!! Lovely ambience. As a bonus P Diddy turned up whilst we were there!!
Just a fun Sunday breakfast.
