   The only fault with food and reason for 2 stars I asked the waitress if they had fish and they very kindly cooked me a lovely piece of sea trout. I found it bizarre that they still served it with a huge yorkshire pudding and a sausage set on top from the carvery sides! Otherwise everything was lovely and rest of party very happy with their meals!

   Beautiful weather for a trip to Bushmills Inn. Tried the Sunday Carvery and it was really tasty but just a little too much for us both. Glad we had no Starter course but dessert was great.

    The Bushmills Inn never fails to impress. The menu is always exciting and has a good choice of different dishes. The staff are first class, attentive, friendly and professional. The interior of the hotel and restaurant oozes understated homeliness with the added charm of the warren of rooms and snugs throughout. Wonderful!

    It's OK. I think I expected better as the hotel is so expensive. The service was pretty good although having pointed out to the waitress that 2 of our menus were missing the page for main meals and desserts, I was surprised she brought them back with the pages still missing when we were choosing dessert. Clearly someone else's job. The mains were good, the Cullen skink was very tasty. The rhubarb delice was average, didn't really taste of rhubarb and the gin sorbet was basically crushed ice and colour.

    Efficient, service and food very good. Enjoyed leisurely pace and surroundings. My wife's family owned the building when it was the Antrim Arms and she has vivid memories of it back in the 1950s so we always love coming here while she likes trying to recognise the landmarks in this much changed building.

    Very nice little Inn… Food was fresh and very tasty. The only item that wasn’t nice was the hummus (needs lemon and garlic plus seasoned) Nice staff and good service … will definitely go back .

    Overall experience good. One exception was at dinner. I was trying to choose a sauvignon blanc other than the house wine which I had one glass of at the bar. It wasn't my preferred option. The waitress wasn't able to help so I asked if she could get someone to assist. The restaurant manager then came to help or so I thought. I was trying to explain but he got very defensive & rude. I said the house wine was only fine & that I was looking for another option by the bottle. He said he hoped the house wine was better than fine & didn't help at all. He wasn't able to recommend an alternative & didn't seem to know anything about the wine list. I felt I had to now manage the situation as his attitude & demeanour was very bad. He was defensive & I felt was about to challenge me. I wanted to point out to him that wine preference is subjective & his role in that moment was to sell a bottle he thought would better suit what I liked. He wasn't able to do that & seemed offended that I didn't like the house / bar wine. It totally put us off & left a bad / awkward atmosphere. I chose a wine myself & we finished our meal which was very good. It's very straightforward, help guests choose a wine they like with your knowledge of your wine list. I felt he was condescending. Not at all in keeping with the rest of the hotel.

    Firstly, l love The Bushmills Inn, it’s usually one of my favourite places for a special celebration meal. However, Sunday evening was a little disappointing, the food was not to the normal high standard. Hopefully this was just a glitch and next time will be better.

    Great food and great service. We had a lovely three course dinner followed by some drinks in the bar. There was live music on which made for a great atmosphere. Exceptional service from all of the staff, particularly Gareth.

    Squid and slaw was excellent. I chose lamb and was told it would be medium rare. In fact it was medium and on a personal note I don’t like coriander and there was some in this dish. Service was prompt and very attentive.

    Bushmills Inn is a lovely place and has lots of character. We were greeted immediately by a friendly member of staff who took us into dining area and then another friendly member of staff led us to our table.(At this point I would have liked to have been asked in which area I would like to sit ).We were directed to a booth which was a bit cramped and a waiter seen to our requests promptly. The food(original,different and nicely presented) and service were excellent ,however I felt food was overpriced making it an expensive lunch
