   There was some confusion as I had booked an afternoon tea through Open Table, however it seems this had not been put through to the restaurant and therefore was not prepared. However the staff lead by their friendly manager could not have been more accommodating and provided us with a complimentary platter of delicious meat and cheese's plus a drink each. Its not always about an error but how an error is dealt with and they excelled in making it better. I would def stay at this hotel again purely because of the service from the reception to the bar staff the the restaurant team and manager and because all of the food we had was great. The hotel is a little tired but has loads of character and rooms were new a spacious and extremely clean. Sea View from restaurant. Great location. Will definitely go back and recommend.    Nice place with an affordable and tasty lunch menu. Drinks were lovely too (Prosecco and red wine). I enjoyed the music and decor. Will repeat.

   An absolutely delightful evening. Everything was beautifully done from the decor, the music, the service down to the music in the background. A truly memorable experience!

   This is not a restaurant! It is a noisy bar with some tables stuck in the middle. Huge table for 8 for 4 people! Had a drink and walked out. How can anyone eat with music blaring away and a couch full of people on a night out. If you want to advertise this as a restaurant you need to have a designated area for this. Dreadful!

   The staff were very attentive. We weren’t left waiting for service at any point of our tea. Would thoroughly recommend their afternoon tea

   Food was great and good value. Service was excellent, better than we have experienced anywhere else for a long time. Staff were very professional, polite and efficient. My only negative was the website as I booked the table online and it would not work on my phone so had to use the laptop but then the whole month would not display so had trouble changing the date.
