During Covid Marcello's on St. Charles, moved to Covington executive chef and owner, Blakley Kymen, has been loking for a way to bring Marcello's back to their guests in New Orleans. Together with her sister and neice, Michele Caswell - Adams and Brittani Adams- Perret of Unique Wedding & Events, they are bringing a new and exciting restaurant to New Orleans. While still honoring their Sicilian roots they are adding a little French and Cajun flair to the menu.

Wine remains a huge passion and the wine market is unmatched in New Orleans. With prices just above retail you'll be sure to find something amazing.

My lady and l live in the neighborhood and wanted to check Barrilleaux’s out. Everything was pretty good. The Host and Waitress were awesome. Food was pretty good. She really loved the Pork Cheek. We will be back!!!

Met up with some friends for a good dinner. Food was ok, can be better. Service was pleasant but could be more organized. Overall the place was nice and we’d love to go back.

Our reservation was for 6:30, we placed our drink orders with our server but our hostess was more in contact with the table. Drinks took until 7 to arrive. Appetizer at 7:20. Other appetizer incomplete due to a mix up with the delivery, arrived at 7:30. At 8 we asked for the check but the hostess comp’d our meal. She was great, our server was very nice, the restaurant was beautiful. It felt like a new restaurant that hasn’t found it’s flow yet. We just didn’t want to wait any longer for who knows what to happen with the main course an hour and a half after we arrived.

Overall it was pretty good however the wait was very long. The waitress had too many tables for a holiday.

I'm not sure when this restaurant opened, but it felt like a new restaurant. Some of the food was very good, some just ok. one item wasn't warm enough. The service was awkward (timing). They did comp my drink because they couldn't locate one of the ingredients and it took quite a while to prepare it. I was impressed with that. With a few tweaks, this could be a really nice restaurant.

The night of the 18th we had 2 kitchen staff and our regular bartender all call out sick. I do apologize for any inconvenience and hope you will come back in soon to see us.

We had an amazing Brunch the staff was very attentive. Highly recommend the Biscuits and Gravy- And don't go with out a bloody Mary!

We discovered this new restaurant by the former Marcello's people. We really loved Marcello's and are sorry that they decided to move to the North Shore. Barrilleaux is a nice restaurant. We sat in the back room (where the bar is) and it was very cozy. The front dining room feels a little minimalist. The meatballs that we had for an appetizer were really very good. They are made with pork, not beef, and had a lot of flavor. The pork cheeks was one of my favorite dishes and Marcello's and I was not disappointed. Delicious! The chicken on the chicken alfredo was a little dry, but the chicken in the chicken piccata was really moist and juicy. The only thing about the piccata was that it lacked some for the lemony, briney flavor that it is supposed to get from the lemons and capers. The tiramisu was good, but did not have much coffee flavor. Of course, we are finding that to be the rule, not the exception these days in restaurants that serve tiramisu. The service was very good. We liked the restaurant and will certainly go back. We recommended it to several people over the next couple of days.

We have tweeked the piccata and added more capers, I think you were right it did need a little more. We have also added a little more esspresso to our tiramisu. Hope the next time you are they are to your liking. Looking forward to see you again soon.

I was so happy to find out that the Marcello’s owner/chef was back to New Orleans. The new venue is stunning. Food and wine selection are second to none, so is service. Gavin was awesome. I could suggest the pork cheeks but honestly, just go and order anything from the menu. Your experience will be great!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is the cutest place! Part of the restaurant is a bar setting with a TV and the other part is a quiet, pretty dining area, all with exposed brick. The food was AMAZING. I ordered the Alfredo with chicken and my mom ordered the shrimp and grits and we both loved our meals. Drinks were also very good! And our waitress was so nice! We’ll definitely be coming back!!
