The Bulls Head is an attractive traditional Pub. Pur well one was friendly and we were shown to our table fpr 2 in the upstairs dining room, as requested.it was a Father's Day, so a little noisy and boisterous. However, we were seated away from the crowd, which was nice. Our seats were small padded vinyl covered, but uncomfortable as we kept slipping on them. We ordered and waited at least 40 mins for our food, which was well presented. Unfortunately, it was luke warm at best. The roast beef was tough to chew and the chicken overcooked and dry. The Yorkshire pudding too was soggy and not at all crisp to the point of tasting stale. The roast potatoes were hard and overcooked (or been kept warm) and dried or hard inside. At no point were we asked how our food was or if we had any comment to make, or we would have politely pointed the avove out. As it was, we were simply asked if we'd finished and the table cleared. By this time we declined desert and went to pay. Again, not asked how our meal was to give us an opportunityto say without making a point and coming over as just grumpy. Thoroughly underwhelmed and disappointed, as it had great promise. I hope we were just unlucky.

food was really hot and quick, carter for my dietary needs coeliac and diary free, good quality wine too. Great service from the lovely bar staff and waiters too

We went to The Bulls Head as it is local. I was disappointed that the menus were laminated which would indicate that the items were not changed very often ( if at all) The food arrived promptly and well cooked, however for scampi and a pie it did seem quite expensive! The staff were polite and friendly, but sadly I think it will be a while before we visit again.

Ordered 4 dishes off the small plates. Did not like the batter like coating on the meat dishes we ordered and found the bread hard, not soft that came with the houmus and the artisan oil. We went on a lovely sunny day but chose to eat inside which was quite cold as no heating was on.

Our vist to the Bulls Head in Davenham was fantastic. The service from the moment we arrived, to when we left was amazing. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. The food we ordered, which was a Sunday Roast, was fab. Great service, great food and amazing value too.
