The outdoor seating was lovely. It seems more casual in their COVID-friendly iteration than it used to be before, but that was actually perfect for this occasion. The pricing of the dishes didn't seem to match though, we all thought that the portions were a little small for the still pretty premium prices. However, we do realize that this is a very difficult time for restaurants, and are happy to support the Bull Valley Roadhouse so they can weather the storm.

Nothing like it was prior to the pandemic. Must be new owners. We were there at 7PM and they were already out of some entrees. The menu has changed to basically sandwiches with no interesting entrees as in the past. The place has really went downhill and will not return.

We miss your normal menu and I will say as a vegetarian/pescatarian it was disappointing that the only dish my daughter and I could have was a impossible patty or mussels. Your salmon is legendary and I wish you would put it back as a single serve dish. Looking forward to coming back when you are back to normal. Bummed with new menu.

Amazing food, incredible drinks, and love the outdoor seating. Highly recommend the two-person shared drinks - the Zombie, the Blood in the Water, and the third one I can’t remember the name of. Definitely have a designated driver/Lyft - those drinks hit hard!

All the dishes I wanted to eat were not available (Mussel, Ceviche and cheddar cheese waffle), even through I called for the availability in a couple of day in advance and also on the same day early......
Waitress was very slow and forgetful.
Oh well, I hope next time will be better.

Ambience the worst. Cobwebs on the fence next to our table. Tabletop and chairs filthy. It was bad. Drinks and food were good but stingy on the amount of fried chicken.

We love this place. It was our first visit during Covid. They only seat outside now. Menu is different as well. Food was excellent. Service excellent. It was cold outside with a breeze as well.

I was a regular at the BVI prior to Covid.
I recently recently made reservations for a small birthday brunch.
The service was really challenging, I think they overbooked and understaffed and it made for a disappointing brunch with orders arriving with 15-20 minute intervals.
hopefully this is just Covid pains

They were out of many things on the menu. We ordered from the couple items that were left, and one of the entrees came out first. We asked many times about the second dish. After about 20 minutes a manager came out to say that the second dish was out of stock as well. The few starters we received we over-salted. The burger was over-salted We decided to walk out and go somewhere else. On our way out we noticed that most other tables had no food. Boy were they in for a surprise. We saw the table next to us return their drinks. Not sure of the reason. The table across from us was having the same experience. One dish came out and the other no where to be found. The waitress told us as they are a scratch Kitchen they often bring out one entree at a time. Huh?? What?? So dumb. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. We will not be back.

Great way to spend a rainy evening was at Bull Valley Roadhouse. The food was excellent as usual and service impeccable. The owners we’re working due to covering for employees concerned about the COVID-19. Business was slow so not many people were at the restaurant. They made it a great evening.

Food was good, but overpriced and nothing special. Out of an app we wanted and there were other missing service elements. Would still reco for a special occasion- many people seem to like it. What made the night was the company we were with.

As always this restaurant has extremely delicious food. Ordering is done in the tapas style of shared plates. The servers are attentive and timely. The left half of the restaurant is slightly quieter than the main room on the Right. There are only two bathrooms, so the wait for the toilet can be a bit long at times. The decor is awesome and funky, very interesting place from antlers, a saddle made into a mirror to a wall with antique post cards. The menu is pricey but well worth it. Make sure you make a reservation.

We were recommended Bull Valley for our anniversary. What I can say is...the drive to the place was beautiful! The food was amazing and service was outstanding. The only draw back for us was the noise level. Not a very romantic place for an anniversary dinner. It also seemed like they tried to squish as many people in the room as possible. It was very tight. Impossible not to hear the conversation of the screeching ladies voice at the table next to us. LOL! Overall, everything was amazing with the exception of the noise level.

Plates to share were very generous and we ordered too much food, even for 4 people. But it was a birthday! The short ribs were too salty for me, and I’m not a fan of smoky smoked meat like this pork chop...but the pork stew was incredible! Fried chicken was okay. The salads were good. Scalloped potatoes and broccoli I also good. I had never had a Pima cocktail before, and it was indeed a jigger and a half. Very interesting flavors... The pot de Creme (with candle) to share was the perfect sweet and richly delicious ending for too full diners.

This restaurant is always good. The bar is great, with unique cocktails. Food is served family style, which is fun. Mussels & fries are delicious!! You need to ask for them if they aren't on the menu.

Everything was outstanding! The salads were fresh and full of flavor, the potatoes were delicious, the steak was tender, and the broccolini just right amount of seasoning. The fried chicken was so good we ordered another plate! The desert was tasty, and they even brought a free piece of olive oil cake when they found out it was my birthday. We went with wine, but were impressed by the selection of cocktails. Only thing to be mindful of it is isn't cheap, and all the different shared items can add up quick, but it was absolutely worth it!

Such a quirky place off the beaten path. The waiters have some great stories to share about the place as well. Food was delicious, just one or two dishes items were a little over salted (and I love salt!).
I'd definitely come back for a special occasion.

This was one of the best meals we have had in a very long time. Amazing flavors and inventiveness. Beautiful presentation, too. And the service was top notch. Friendly, attentive and well timed. Everything we tasted, we would definitely want again! Run, don’t walk, to this hidden gem!

Great meal. Soufflé was amazing. Oysters just right. We brought our own bottle of wine, which pushed us toward the filet mignon, which were topped with a gratineé that made it unusual. Finished off with the brioche chocolate bread pudding. All perfect.

Excellent service and good. Everything was top notch. The smoked pork chop was amazing, the fried chicken the best ever, and service was attentive but not cloying. Never felt rushed, always felt taken care by a friendly and well-trained staff. Portion sizes were generous and the atmosphere is great!

The cocktails are great, along with the atmosphere. Our food was disappointing. It was so salty that by the time the last dish came out that was salty on it's own we could not eat it.
The service is friendly enough from our waiter but the bussers we totally unfriendly.
Not sure I would make the trip back

This place is amazing and the food is to die for. Highly, highly recommend. Probably one of the better meals I've had in the past few years. Will absolutely be back. What a little gem.
