Lovely place to go. Like stepping back in time! Silver service, lots of people servicing, sweet trolley. Very cooked veg. Suitable for older generation and family occasions!
Great Service, great food. Could not do better !!
Probably the best Restaurant in Bucks and Berks . By far the best in Marlow
Excellent home cooked food. Waiters very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. It’s my favourite restaurant
Very convenient near Marlow. Consist high standard of food with good service. Very friendly staff. Good car parking.
Been before and a very interesting place a little old fashioned but thats pretty good, food is well cooked and presented, a long with attentive service, will go again in better times.
Valentine meal. Excellent evening as usual
Extensive menu. And consistently good and well presented food
Christmas lunch was amazing value.
Excellent as usual.
My roast duck was very nice and the vegetables were very well cooked but my wifes stroganoff was disappointing as the meat was very chewy and the sauce very thin and just a little bitter. Not like any classic stroganoff I have had before.
Great atmosphere, nice food, service was very good too
Excellent food friendly welcoming staff good choice of menu not at all over priced will be going back in the near future highly recommend
I booked a table in the restaurant to be advised on arrival that my table is moved to the Bar and not the restaurant as the restaurant is closed on Sundays . Had I been pre-advised of this I could make a decision of wanting to continue with the booking or not. By keeping this silent I was deprived of the opportunity of making a choice in this regard .
The whole evening was a great disappointment because of this, as it was a special occasion , my wifes's birthday .
I will probably not visit the Bull Inn again . Sadly
I booked on open table, only to be told on the day of the meal that they did not have a booking and that they were fully booked, this was booked for a special meal so the system failed.
Luckily I phoned to try and move the time forward to be told that they had nothing in our name, even though I had a confirmation from open table
Have been going to The Bull at Bisham for more years than I like to remember. The reception has always been most friendly, the food excellent and the service also very good. If you have never been I suggest you try it.
Lovely location. Excellent staff, very friendly and accommodating.
Service and food was excellent!!!!
Looking forward to another visit
We lunched from the daily menu. Food was good value and tasty and plentiful.
Only downside for us was that we were meeting for a long catch up chat and they closed promptly at 3. Undeterred we sauntered through the village to the lovely churchyard right on the banks of the Thames. Beautiful and tranquil.
Amazing service with friendly staff who always make us feel so welcome. Beautiful surroundings and comfortable eating area. Food excellent and the sweet trolley is brilliant.
We are regular visitors. Excellent value and lovely staff
Fantastic from start to finish the service was impeccable and the food excellent I would highly recommend
We had a very nice lunch food was beautifully cooked and lovely fresh veg. The service was excellent good value for money. Will definitely visit again and would recommend.
Perfect for dinner with friends and excellent food
The Bull Bisham is a traditional restaurant with an ambience & style of food to match.
As such it appeals to customers mainly in the 55-70 age group. This is not a hip style restaurant like others in this area who charge significantly more for their offerings.
However, the choice of food is excellent and is really well cooked by friendly and attentive staff.
The Mushroom Farcis starter is particularly good and a dish you hardly see elsewhere.
The Dover Sole served on the bone is magical: a large piece of tasty fish with a decent roe.
Great choice sweet trolley served at the table.
Over the past six months we have "rediscovered" The Bull Inn Bisham .The ambience of the Bar is that of a country Pub restaurant with soft furnishings and carpet floors. This makes for a delightful place to take friends and eat great authentic French/Italian food and hear their conversation.! unlike many modern establishments. The menu is extensive al a cart with a Monday to Thursday small two course excellent table dote, taken from the main menu. Also the wine list in extensive. A nice touch is the main course vegetables (no extra cost) are served from the waiters platter onto your individual side (warm plate).
I defy anyone not to make a selection from their lovely choice from their sweet trolley, fresh berries, home made pastries etc. Each time we visit there is always a different variation in choice. The staff are very polite and attentive. No hesitation in recommending this Bar restaurant.
Had a nice Saturday lunch. The menu was quite varied so plenty to chose from.
Service was very good with efficient and friendly serving staff.
My Mum and I really enjoyed our lunch here. It's so nice to see more than one or two fish choices on a menu. Friendly and brisk service. Food beautifully done and great value. If we lived closer, we'd be in every week!
Excellent food and service....recommend highly.
Watch the large step as you go in.
We booked at lunch time. Unfortunately we had to park in the car in the road as the restaurant car park was full (due to a special function in their separate restaurant). The Bar eating area is superb and typically Old English Inn decor with wooden tables and cloth serviettes. Unlike many modern decor restaurants in The Bull, one could have a normal conversation with its soft furnishings. . The food was excellent with a choice of full al' a ' cart as well as a good Table dote . There is a fully stocked bar and a great choice of wines.
This was our second time eating at the restaurant. The 1st time was to celebrate a 60 th birthday party and the food and service was excellent. We decided to try Sunday lunch and can honestly say that the food and service was just as good as the first time. It was even nice to have been remembered from our first visit. We look forward to our next time that we dine again. We know that what ever the occasion the food, service and ambience will be excellent.
A real surprise. Excellent speedy service.
Charming ambiance. Good access.
My three quests and myself all agreed that everything about the lunch was superb and could not fault it in any way. The food arrived very hot and well cooked. Service was very good although it was quite busy.
Excellent value for the money, the staff make you feel welcome, and the food is well prepared and
From the welcome at the door to the time we left, it was a faultless evening. Excellent service was matched by the quality of the food - the fillet steak was superb !
Generous helpings of desert from a good selection was a lovely way to finish the evening. We will certainly be back.
Very quaint, if a little dated, pub restaurant. Reminded us of some 70's style pubs we frequented - with a proper dessert trolley!
Food and service were very good and the chef is to complemented. Extensive wine list which we thought was a tad pricey but there were some fine wines to be had . We opted for a Reisling which was fabulous, but at nearly £30 it should be.
Would recommend for the food and a touch of nostalgia.
Excellent all round, would recommend any to try. Staff brilliant.
A lovely place and delicious old school food , great waiter Miguel helped make this a lovely experience
I have to say this is easily one of my favourite restaurants for sure. After just the one visit! Absolutely terrific level of service. Great ambiance and fantastic food. The staff were very friendly and cheerful. Very impressed and highly recommend. I will definitely go back.
Always an enjoyable evening at The Bull. Love the food and service is outstanding.
2nd time I have been. Food and service are excellent.
