   The Bukhara is a wonderful Indian restaurant in Rockville, MD. We enjoyed going there for a buffet lunch yesterday. The food i very flavorful and not too spicy.

   Good lunch buffet I would return. Fresh items and great sauces for the rice, etc. loved the tandoori chicken and butter chicken.

   This is a good Indian restaurant with a range of spice options. We were an 8 member group with advance reservations using OpenTable. They had the table ready for us when we arrived, but seated us on two joined 4 seat tables. This left the people at the end of the tables (facing in toward the others) with their knees knocking with others. It was a tight squeeze. The server came up to us promptly and asked for the order -- I had to beg more time than 30 seconds of just getting in to be able to place an order -- the ask for drinks came later. Water was promptly served, though. After appetizers were served we got a sum total 4 papads (!!!) for 8 people. I had a joke with the manager and chide him for the apparent shortage in the number of papads offered. The food was ordered and the manager who took our order, now, offered good suggestions. The spice levels as they were requested. The kids got their mild, and those with medium got that. We did not venture into the "hot" and "Indian hot" categories -- though, having eaten the medium, I would. The food was good (average to above average) but with refreshing flavors. The servers did not bother to serve the food and we were left with 6 containers of ordered items 2 rice containers, and a 2 bread baskets on the table. A little crowded on the table ... but it emptied quickly. The quantity is good for a sumptuous meal for 2 (per order). Rice is included, bread is extra. All in all, I would give our visit a solid 3.5 / 5.0 -- the food is above average. The owners are genuinely interested in giving you a good time and the food is to match. The restaurant is busy and seemed to be filled with regulars. Noise levels is of people chatting and having a good time at a familiar place. Not too loud, but not quiet either. Walk in with shorts and tee and you are as much in place as with someone dressed up. My only gripe is that though the service is good overall, the servers could be trained to watch for the little things.

   The staff are very kind and offer great recommendations if you aren't sure what you want. They will make the food just how like it in terms of spice and even try to accommodate other needs. Their naan is unbelievable its buttery and light.

   This is a restaurant which aims to please. There were some changes to the lunch buffet which, when the manager came over to our table to inquire about our dining experience, I didn't like. One was an okra dish. I also told him that everything was too spicy for me. He then asked me what vegetables I like. I told him that I like one of the combinations on the buffet but that what was on the buffet was too spicy. He then told me he'd have the kitchen make me a less spicy version. Also, most Indian recipes charge extra for naan. Here a basket of naan is brought to the table. This restaurant's employees always bend over backward to make diners feel welcomed & important. That is why I go back time & time again in spite of the too spicy food.

    Our family came over to visit and we love Indian cuisine! We head over to the restaurant not knowing much about this one in particular! The welcoming was well receive by us! We had reservations, but we called them to let them know about our delay! We sat down, and we received our menu, they offered us the drinks! We ordered the lamb, lentil soup, and an appetizer! All delicious! This is a small restaurant that provides good food and services!
